We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but

Decal won't update and tank will not authorize, please help

I just bought a new laptop, and installed AC with no problem...decal and tank installed fine, when it came to updating decals xml files, it wouldn't do anything, just froze on me. When I finally got it to update, and installed eltank, then when i go to use tank it don't authorize so I can't even use tank.....here are my exports..... if u have a solution, please PM ME back, thanks

sounds like a firewall issue
both Decal and ELTank must contact servers outside for information. If those are BOTH failing, then it sounds like something is blocking those transactions.

also ralph, did you download the "updater" from decaldev.org?
if your decal wont update..dl that and use it, and you should be ok. While back they made a seperate update program.

Drakier is right, check to see if windows installed the firewall. If so you have to set the firewall up to let decal and eltank through.
