El Tank is too cluttered with everything else for this purpose...
Haven't tried alinco, seems it too has lots more than I want...
Hoping spies will come back available soon so I can try it...
Find it, (disclaimer: to my knowledge) doesn't differentiate what is a major and what meets the armor stats when it pops up.
Any other id'ing plugins that I should look at?

Alinco is what I use. FindIt is also a good program.
Try them before you decide they are too complicated.

Spies is available, however it does not have major detection in the released version. I plan to include this ability in a future update.
