If so, what musician or band inspired you to start playing ?
For me it's the guitar & Eric Clapton. Bands like Living Colour also helped, cause I thought they just went crazy with the solo's. Surprisingly I dont like Jimi Hendrix lol.
Anyone else ?

Hrm...
I've been playing guitar for a long time now... 9 years I think.
But my progression went as follows:
1st - Green Day songs
2nd - Jimi Hendrix Songs
3rd - Guns n' Roses Songs
4th - Yngwie Malmsteen songs
5th - me, noodling
Eventually you get to a point where it's aggrivating to play songs by other people lol.

I got involved with band in school, so I learned how to play the trumpet, baritone, and tuba.
Recreationally I learned how to play guitar. I was inspired by groups like Green Day and the Smashing Pumpkins at a very young age, and more recently begun imitating Clapton, Hendrix and the like.

I've played Trombone for 10 years, though not as much in the past 4.
I messed around a little with other brass instruments in high school, tuba, baritone/euphonium, trumpet, and just a little mellophone.
I've played guitar for about 6-7 years, though I've never advanced too far. I can play decently, but I'm nothing special.
I mess around with bass and drums a little.
My goal is to learn to play the bagpipes though.

Highland Bagpipes. I'm not kidding.
My family has some strong Scottish heritage but what really inspired me to learn was seeing the Pipe Bands play during Canada Day parades when I was little.
