This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

That's the file that errors in the report, it's always a _appcompat.txt file, but the number is different each time I think...and no file with _appcompat.txt when i did a search showed up, so i'm guessing it's only there when the client is actually running............any ideas, suggestions, help, etc? Thanks x10 in advance (just crashed on me and as soon as i started the client again i hit "enter" on the character screen and it crashed again).

didnt get the cd, i downloade my throne of destiny =\
i restart my computer and usually that fixes it for awhile till it does it again. . .sometimes the same day, sometimes not for a couple days. It's not really a huge problem, i'd just hate it to happen in the middle of something important in game

so download them from Turbine's site.. I'm sure they still offer the DAT files for download right? the cell.dat you can completely delete I believe (without replacement).
The portal.dat however would require a replacement of at least SOME data. I'd recommend getting it from Turbine's site, then logging in to allow the patches to download.

It "may" not be a AC stuff issue... or at least, not directly.
What other progs do you run, yourself, or auto runs on your comp? Something else could be making AC crash.
I used to have a problem with AC and yahoo (part of the yahoo streaming banner), and it would crash me any where from 5 mins to 1 hour of playing. Couldnt delete the file or rename it. Had to go safe mode to rename it and that fixed it.
