iPod battery problems
|
hey all didnt know where else to ask this but has anyone else had this battery problem for iPod Nano...i got it just before Christmas and lately its been acting funny
last week the day before it said it had half power so i didnt charge it that night and then next day at work out the battery was dead...so i took it home charged it...worked fine for the next day
two days later i had just fully charged it again after a long use and took it to work out...battery dead
so then i figured it must have gotten hit and played all night or something so i put on the little lock thing so that even if it got hit it wouldnt turn on...one day later battery fully dead
fully charged once more last night and today once again dead
is this a normal problem? how costly is it to get the battery replaced? or is it possibly the unit itself?

This is what you get for buying apple imo
You should be able to send it in for free and/or a small fee to have it fixed though

I have a mini they replaced new for free when I brought it into the store 51 weeks after I purchased it.
I bought the warranty plan for the other ipod, because that battery thing is a common problem with them. It's well worth the money.

I live 2 hours from an Apple Store, but I was able to get to one before the one-year warranty expired. Also, I think the Apple site gives the details on where to return them, if it's within the year.
