Alinco does it it acts as a self buffer and does the corpse tracking and opening has a coupe of HUD's for you too I have just started to use thei but it is the best bandit sight /ust combo so far.

Yes, I liked the old UST a lot. I have several characters now who have all kinds of salavage on them. It'd be great to put it on one mule and combine alls the bags based on their quality.. doing this by hand now, and it sucks.

IMO, the #1 think that I liked about U.S.T. over the way ElTank or LifeTank does it ...
The ability to set the combine levels for EACH salvage SEPERATELY.
ie Combine work level:
Gold 1-9 in one bag and 10 in a seperate bag.
Silver 1-10 in one bag.
Steel 1-6 in one bag, and work 7, 8, 9, 10 in 4 seperate bags.
Mahogany 1-6 in one bag, and work 7, 8, 9, 10 in 4 seperate bags.
Gromnie hide 1-8 in one bag, and work 9 and 10 in 2 seperate bags.
etc.
Other things ...
#2 The ability to have it so that you can salvage Minors if you wish and/or Major Banes.
#3 The ability to NOT salvage Majors other than Banes (or possibly Person and Monster Assess).
#4 Would be nice if you could set a "finished pack" so that when a salvage bag is full, it would automatically be moved to a side pack.

Find It! does this. Find It! doesn't auto-salvage, but then again I wouldn't want a plugin that auto salvages.

Do you know if the plugin author has a "problem" with running his program along side of ElTank? If not, I guess I will check that one out.

I know other plug-ins might have this build into them, but UST was the Ultimate Salvaging tool and I miss it so much

Actually Alinco is a superior plugin to UST I loved UST but Alinco does so much more.

But the Greatest thing US did that Nothing we have now can do
Was scan your pack for salvage and then do it all, including combinung bags
With Alinco and All other options out right now You have to loot the item to ust it.
UST was especially usefull for salvaging the stuff I picked up with my noobs, on my hi'er lvl toons that get bonus's

Agreed, what i liked about UST was its ability to mule partial bags of salvage over to a salvage mule and combine them, no plug in does that now, not all of us run plug ins to loot for us, another reason why UST was great.

Anyone trying to bring U.S.T. back ?
I just checked the vb source from U.S.T. v1.0.14 and played a bit around with VC# and Digeros SSSort
source.
Maybe Im able to bring U.S.T. back but first want to know if Archui is still around in the code biz for AC.

I am kind of surprised there is not a plugin that combines partials as well. Though at least SSSort it helps alleviate the problem slightly.
