Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

This was originally a post meant for my server boards. I was going to edit this message out but I think it's appropriate to mention given some of the nasty "I want a golden goose NOW daddy!" comments being directed toward the decal devs.
-------------------------------------------
So I go to class today, and the first thing the teach does is hand back the tests we took on Monday. We then move on with the lesson/discussion of the day.
20-30 minutes later this chick walks in late as she does almost every class. Sipping on a soda pop, she slams the door and before even getting to an empty seat she interrupts the lecture to ask "Um...can I get my test back?" No please, no sorry I was late and am now interrupting your lecture, no nothing.
Teach tells her to wait, she says she has to go, has a doctor's appointment or something. Teach says "not my problem".
Yay teacher!
But 5 minutes later he gives her test back to her anyway and she gets up and leaves.
Now I realize this girl will probably not get a great grade but that's not what concerns me.
This attitude I see echoed everywhere nowadays. I don't have this attitude because I learned manners and discipline in places like the U.S. Army, through sports, and in college. Obviously college isn't universal in it's instilling of discipline.
This really bothers me that people have such a lack of societal responsibility.

Bousada claims to have your manners and self disipline but his actions always state otherwise.
