Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

i was told this ingame by someone who wishs to be nameless
is this true ?
no way do i wanna update till its stable alpha 3 works fine thnx

Not true.
One of my PCs is still running Decal 3 and the old version of LifeTank. My other machines are on Decal 5d.

Few things to think about.
1) It's an Alpha, use it at your own risk and use it on the terms with which it is offered.
2) Patch day is coming this week, chances are good that old versions of Decal will not be supported, meaning that if you need to update your memlocs you will likely need to be using the latest version of Decal.
3) There is no forced upgrade from Decal nor the Decal Team . . . but if you use EL Tank there is a forced upgrade to the latest Tank version, which requires the newest Decal Alpha. That's not the Decal team in action . . .
