...open up ACDualClient, click the 'options' tab, then uncheck the 'Enable Injection' box.

As a side note.
This is what you need to do. However when I did this I was no longer able to dual log. I could log in a second account by re-enabling the injection mode but that meant I couldn't use Decal on the second account then.
Yes, Drakier knows about all of this and is addressig it, be patient.

I had Dual Client installed but now its uninstalled. The injection and dual client in the Decal Alpha 5b still does not show up.

i think it may have something to do with launcher.ini settings left over from your ac dual client install, but i don't know the exact details.
check the ac dual client support forum for more specific help.

why does everyone assume if having issues with decal showing in game that its a problem with drakiers acdual client
i don't run drakiers at all not even installed on machine
so now anymore advice!!

Open the file "Launcher.INI" in your AC game folder (typically C:\Program Files\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny).
If you see a line that contains this:
Application=ACDCClient.exe
... then change it to this:
Application=ACClient.exe
[Edit] NOTE - you may have to do this even if you've uninstalled ADulaClient some time ago.

Correct..
Uninstalling ACDualClient does not put the Launcher.ini back to ACClient.exe.
You must first disable injection before uninstalling in order to get it to what you want. I've been looking at ways to fix this but haven't yet found anything. I'm still thinking.
As for the Decal bar, I have a fix in the works which is currently being tested. Once it has been tested to my satisfaction, then I'll release it publically and Decal Alpha5 should work with it again.

Because ACDualClient does cause a problem with Decal's injection. And that's the only confirmed bug we've had in the entire alpha test - some remnant of ACDC leftover interfering.

I changed that line in login.ini and I disabled injection on ACDC. I can't log in with a second client.
What am I doing wrong?

You have to choose. Decal or dual client, until Drakier fixes ACDualClient.

Yeah I have updated to 2.0 final of .net framework, reinstalled everything, from scratch, deleted folders, did a registry search and STILL no interface.
Injection methods and all that jazz.

I tried both injection methods. No dual client. Ac Client has encountered a program and now needs to close... RIGHT as I get to the final login part...

It has nothing to do with the Injection box inside of Decal.
You shouldn't really be touching that at all.
The issue is the Injection within ACDualClient (the ACDCClient.exe).
If your launcher.ini is set to use the ACDCClient.exe, then it will not inject properly until I get the next version out.
The injection within Decal are really only different methods of the same thing. Neither should be any better or worse than the other.. it just gives us more options to play with in the case of someone with a strange issue.
You aren't "disabling" injection by unchecking the box in Decal. That's just changing to and from an alternate injection style.
