Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Ok ... came back to AC and I want a corpse scanner to quickly scan and look for any majors or 400 yeild weapons, etc.
I've uninstalled all older decals and plugins, installed Alpha 4, and plugins, update..
Log in fine, then bammo.. crash.
ImpFilter is gone.
SpellFilter is gone.
I've seen people use El Tank to paste items to chat channel.
I tried, and as soon as I clicked on the El Tank button to bring it up in AC.. nice quick smooth crash to desktop.
Suggestions, recommendations?

Eltank doesn't work with alpha 4, you need to install alpha 3 if you want to use eltank.

Long Time No See Elder!
As suggested, you need to use different versions of software to get certain plugins to work.
Remember that this is Alpha Decal and that it isn't at all stable. It's not really meant to be used in terms of play or stability.
It's working... sorta... but don't expect too much out of it yet.
We're still working on it, and hopefully Alpha 5 will be released soon. Once alpha 5 is released we should start to see a little more stability in it. There is still quite a bit of resource issues, but it's getting better.

Thanks, Drakier.  Good to see you again.
Yeah, I know it's alpha .. just hate opening a corpse on Caul or something only to crash. 
Good to know about Alpha 3 and El Tank. I'll give it a whirl.
