opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

how come please help with decal

Ok here is whats goin on. once again, i deleted everything from my computer relating to decal and tank. went back though and installed everything again. now all i get is decal bar and tank icon in game when i click on them i crash to desktop. i dont get hud's or anything am i missin a file somewhere? heres my xport
also i cannot dl windows service pack 2 for some reason it tells me i need a newer version

Did you check the ELTank boards?
Specifically the part about how ELTank doesn't currently work with Decal Alpha 4 (which is the one you have installed)?

That's an old version of Decal and you should not be testing on that version. Please test on the latest versions of decal alpha only if you are testing. If you're not testing, then you do not get support from development staff as we don't have time to support people running old versions of software.... also.. we're only support computer professionals and plugin developers right now anyway on the ACDev Support forums, so unless you're one of those, then it is "use at your own risk". If it works, great! If not, then wait for a better release later and try again.

On the Tanks Download page there are Links to
MSXML3 sp5, MSXML4 sp2, and VBRun Libs, and Window Hosting Script 5.6
Dowload and install all of those
You Really Need to Get Windows XP sp2 installed not just for Decal/Tank but for your computers safety
If Windows Update willnot work for you for soem reason Google AutoPatcher and use That, Its a HUGE DL tho
Edit: Actually just remembered, AutoPatcher doesn't include sp2, If you cant get Windows Update to work Find a download for the Mass Distrubution copy of Service Pack 2 and download that.
