Locked for trolling, baiting, and I swear I saw some ph4rming in there.
Once again Sasiah, you prove what you are made of. Can anyone please try and explain to her what the term “let sleeping dogs lie†means? I really would like to close the chapter of my time in DAoC that involves you, but you can not seem to get it through your head. Stop trying to attack my character. Each and every time you do so I will rise to the bait and call you out for your actions. I am not sneaky like you, nor am I vindictive. I believe I am a fair person, one that just wants my name never to cross your lips. What does it take for you to stop trying to belittle me in order to make yourself feel better about your petty existence?
Oh, let me inform everyone what I mean. Tonight I was leading a not so successful raid in both Odin’s (Where we got mauled at the Mile gate by the smelly trolls) and in the Gorge (Where we got tooled by the Relic guards – Ya, that was totally my fault, hehe, I am so used to fighting in Odin’s I thought the entrance was on the wrong side so I put everyone in the wrong place to start with) A few hours later I had someone that did not know the history between the two of us ask me what I had done to piss Sasiah off. I told them that I would not say anything bad about her, but that she and I had bad blood between us due to our history. It seems though Sasiah is not above trying to attack someone’s character at any chance. She was sitting there telling other what a bad leader I am.. Well that may actually be.. I will let others decide. I do make my mistakes. I am big enough to admit I do not know everything. The point I would like to put out for everyone to see is this.
At least I do not cower in the background like a snake and make snide comments about anyone else. I at the very least make an attempt to better our lands with my actions, not tear down anyone, or anything with my words or deeds. Now that said, let me make a liar of myself and point out a few things that folks may not know about a one Sasiah Blackrose.
A fine cleric by all estimations, though if you count in the number of times she goes AFK during any kind of fight to the negative side, she might be a fair pass for an armsman during any kind of combat. Leaving the business of leaving the keyboard aside – let us take a look at what goes on during any given fight. She might make a wonderful healer if she was not involved in some kind of tryst or liaison during 90% of her time playing. I mean come on – how can you be an effective cleric when you are in the middle of some cyb0r session in the background. Oh wait; let us not forget judgment calls. A good cleric in any given group pays attention to their group, but if you have some apple of the eye, flavor of the week boy toy around.. Well your group can forget about getting any help from you because you will be to busy trying to fluff your cabana boy.
Now, that is what is known as attacking an individual in public. Please if you really, honestly feel the need to have an ongoing battle, do not hide in the shadows like a coward, come on out and fight in the light of day. I will battle your lies with truth, your vindictiveness with honesty, and your cheap shots with blows that are at the very least accurate and not concocted.
I will ask one more time, and state one last time. Sasiah please leave me alone. If you choose not to do so, please expect me once more to lay your deeds out for all to see.

Well [edit sp] Maradon, I neither love nor hate the person.. What I do believe however, is that sneak attacks, and snide comments behind someone's back should never be allowed to go without comment. You see, I was taught that folks that could not say to a person what they thought were cowards, or bullies.. Both aught to be addressed rather than ignored, because ignoring them simply gives them motivation to attack more.. I am not stalking her. Just simply pointing out to the general populace what a snake she is. Yes, I am in the process defaming myself by stooping to her level, but I at least have the wherewithall to do it to her face and not behind her back.

There's a reason I quit leading, and it wasn't for the flames. It was simply, people don't care how many times you succeed at something, they will always remember your failures. A teacher I once knew said these words to me: "You can do everything right every day, until one day. and that one day will marr all the other days behind it." They don't care that you took a relic one night, they will remember the night you lost them for some reason or another. Leaders, lead, they do what they have to do to get a complex job done. Sometimes they (gasp) fail, and you know what? Most fail more then they succeed, which is a god given fact. Daigen has all my respect simply because, he tries, and he tries hard. And no matter how many times you try to throw dirt on him, there will always be his supporters and others like me, who will follow him. And no matter what people who are like you say, we will respect him simply for one reason, and a very large reason at that:

whoa ive seen sasiah lead and damn that woman cant complain about anyone elses leadership because she is not one bit better.
Daigen is a good leader usually and mostly people remember him as one, but just because sasiah has personal issues with him doesnt make it a general thought for everyone else.
She can say what she want but the rest of the raid should not listen to her and maradon try checking the last 3 sasiah posts... its all hate to the poor woman who is so innocent but everyone still hate... how can that be? haxor most definately yes. or maybe because shes a bad person? 
maradon i dont have anything against you but taking sasiah's side in anything is stupid. that woman creates more hate and intrigue in our realm than what good is and i will never thank her for that.
i know both sasiah and daigen and i can say that Daigen is not the type who usually stir up problems.
He wouldnt do this kind of post unless sasiah herself asked for it.

I think I disagree with you Mara and Arc.
Actually, reality is he is not on a high horse and is active aggressive in his pursuit of a solution to this situation. Backbiting conniving freaks (BCF) can be dealt with in a few ways. This way is perfectly legit. Now, of course this is assuming that Daigen believes he is dealing with a BCF. If he is then he has every right to step out and aggressively defend himself however he sees fit.

It’s very hard to fight someone who is being a manipulative, passive-aggressive, lying snake. To watch your name and character torn apart in the shadows. All Daigen is doing is trying to bring the fight out into the light. Unfortunately for him I doubt this method will work either though. You are dealing with a psychotic bytch and that just will never change.
Just as you fell for it so will the next guy. There is nothing you can do. As suggested the best thing is to just ignore her and not let her have even an ounce of your energy. She’s not worth it and for her it’s only fuel to feed on. Enough of Albion knows what she is and those that don’t will find out sooner or later.

Daig you may be right on your personal feelings about her that is always debateable. But you loose credibitly when you blur your arguments. What I mean is you and her have a personal history and you are makeing personal jabs in the public.
Had you just stated "Saisah if you don't like my leadership please step up."
While that is still bringing the drama it keeps you creditable.

All I have to say is it sure is easy to be judgemental of someone trying to lead a group of whiny-know it all-i'm dood pricks from the sidelines. If your that good take the reins and lead you stupid ass. People bitch and whine about knowing whats best even though i've found that in this wonderful realm of albion people cannot even follow simple whilst even using small worded directions. I've only had the pleasure of grouping with daigan once and it was on some artifact raid but even tho i'm no one to anyone he treated me fairly and with respect which is more than I can say for 99% of the realm and the female dog of a woman that was the reason of this threads exsistance.
Albs have been pissing me off more and more lately and it is probably the reason I don't play much anymore. There are some truely good people in this realm but the vast majority I would let burn w/o regret. WTS know-it-all Albs, anyone buying.

Okay I will reply to some of the comments from a few people. First, yes I know full and well that once one starts slinging mud, even in defense, that mud sticks to both parties. Does that mean I will not defend myself? Not on your life. I am not here trying to "warn" anyone. I did that, after that I left the matter as closed. This, this was yet another attack (Not the first mind you, just the latest one that once again forced me to take it in a public venue and cry foul) Here is why I chose to take it to the VN boards. First, I do like to hear other folk’s opinions on the matter. Take Stratus for example. He made a valid point. After last nights Relic raids hell I would not want to follow me. *Yes it was that ugly*
Second, I can not go to her public venue to defend myself, her comments were made to her guild, her alliance, they are made behind the scenes in a place where I am not invited, nor have tried to force my way into. I can not defend myself there, so I will do so here. I am less trying to besmirch her name as I am trying to defend my own. Here let me try and explain this a bit more.
Do I hate Sasiah, or have no respect for her? The answer to both of those are no. I believe Sasiah can be VERY nice indeed if she likes you. She will wait for you for hours, alone, until you have time, and there she is waiting to help you. She can and has selflessly devoted hours of her time to help someone out with no reason other than she wanted to see someone else happy. On the flip side, if you have earned the black star of disdain from her. Katy bar the door for all hell will be loosed. Personal attacks, vindictive lies, concocted stories are a thing she is not above. I can not stomach the thought of letting her japes fly without an answer. I was always taught to stand up for yourself, your beliefs, your friends and family.
Third, at least this way she is forced to confront me, and in THIS confrontation, she can not later hide behind some half-truth to defend her ways. I would much rather air my dirty laundry in public than have it sit in the shadows, moldering and smelly until I get used to the smell.
Last point I would like to respond to.. Bart - you have an excellent point, and were I not upset about it, I would have loved to re-word it as such. Hindsight being 20/20 I do like your idea. I am not the best at much of anything much less some in-fighting battle where someone literally hates you. I have had it explained to me to ignore the person. I have an issue with letting a sleazy underhanded person get away with the snide backbiting comments.

A person learns by doing.
Real military typically has training, schooling, and tons of precedent and procedure to produce the desired outcomes.
Potential emerging leaders in DAoC only have stubbornness, thick skin, and hopefully the ability to obtain the advice of proven others to get up to speed.
After that, it's all just a matter of learning lessons.
The only advice I’ll continue to offer, is make it fun. A leader should never have a bad day. Even if you are more pissed off than you have ever been in yoru life… Be gracious - Thank everyone profusely for helping, take the blame for everything, and call out a few good deeds for all to know.
People will walk away with a good feeling, and the next time that leader steps up, odds are you’ll have more people’s respect than the previous battle, regardless of outcome.
Keep going out and applying your learnings, and eventually you’ll become a winning leader. Unless you are fighting Hibs. Or Mids. I mean, let’s be realistic here.
I’ll hook up to help a person who can lead a group to a good time, even if their track record of success is low. But, have a leader go off and berate their army, calling names, or placing the blame publicly on an individual or group, and I’m unlikely to be inspired to donate a couple hours of my life in the future in support of their goals.
That being said? I think this conversation would best be dealt with if associated more with “thick skin†and “graciousnessâ€.

Exactly Macylynn, and for the suggestions as to how best deal with it going forward. I make no pretense of knowing everything. Each time I have moved forward and posted something on the VN (This makes number two for those counting) I have, this time included, gotten great advice on how to handle the situations. That and a chance to air the laundry are pretty much my only reasons for doing this. (Oh and to give Jarvssen something to make popcorn to, and for Dru to be able to farm and hijack)

Albions have a hard time walking and talking at the same time. Midgardians and Hibernians have no problems cyboring and healing well.

I can understand entirely why you would post here Daigen, I had that same exact moral choice in the past. Do I allow her to thrash me behind my back in the shadows where I can not defend myself?
Do I allow her to twist my words and make false accusations and rumors about my character behind the scenes without my ability to defend myself? I found that in the long run, people come to you and ask for clarification, or they figure out the truth of her character on their own, the hard way.
In the long run the truth be known, you have little ability but to continue to act with morality and shine a light on darkness. Eventually it will be your character and sincerity that will show truth.
Don't get me wrong, my reputation was charred by befriending and defending (for far too long) someone unworthy of trust. I know that many people may have false impressions of me based on un-truths. That is something I have learned to accept.
P.S. Thank you for giving a damn enough about the realm to run raids, successful or not.

How long should a person ignore the actions of someone who seeks to destroy them? How long should one ignore the entire situation, hoping that it will somehow magically disappear?
Truth is, crap like this doesn't magically disappear. Sad to say, in most situations like this, ignoring the problem and refusing to confront both the person and the issues usually leads to the belittler feeling bolder, braver, and more empowered to continue spreading their filth.
I think Daigen was correct in tackling this problem head on. Whether he approaches the problem or ignores it, it would have blown up in his face sooner or later. He was in a no-win situation.

Far from taking sides in this because well to be honest you both have issues, then again, who truly doesn't have issues? There are things I can say both negative and positive about both of you as individuals and in regards to this whole diatribe.
However, I want to bring to your attention a conversation you had with this person you publicly berate now when she wanted you to take sides on some issue. She was stating about how a certain individual was sly and deceitful and would lie and talk crap behind others’ backs in order to come out smelling clean.
For some reason, I was invited into that conversation to give my two cents.
Your response, correct me if I am wrong, is that to you this is nothing more than a game and if people lie or talk crap about others to get ahead, who cares, you know what real life is and you know what a game is and the two are not the same.
Why then do you keep allowing this to get to you? The first time you brought this to the VN boards, did it make it all go away? Did people stop talking about you? Did she stop whatever it is you want her to stop? Did you feel better about yourself?
Definition of insanity my friend….repeating the same action over and over….and yet expecting a different result. That applies to more than just this VN boards confrontation crap.
You don’t like how she heals, then don’t have her heal in your group. You don’t like how she cybers, then don’t cyber her. You don’t like what she says, /ignore works wonders.

Yes, and coming here and insulting her repeatedly on a message board in front of all of Percival is the best way to do encourage her to do that, certainly.
The problem with people like what Sasiah is being described as is that they want people to be obsessed with them, and give them attention. If it can't be positive, then they'll take negative, too -- so long as they're getting something.
Thus, by feeding into her drama and letting her get your goat, you are allowing her to win, Daigen. Essentially, you're a puppet to her machinations.
Honest to god... ignore her. Completely, and utterly. Ask any friends that you might have in common to simply tell her the least amount about you as possible if she asks, and to intentionally make it sound bland.

I'll agree with Daigen. Ignoring the problem in this instance does not make it go away.
Both Solice and I can vouch for that. If anything, ignoring it makes it far, far worse.
You cannot be the bigger person with your dealings with her if she's decided you're her main target at the moment. You have to face what comes head on and not turn the other cheek - whether that's to have a face off with her in game (seen that and it didn't work) or get down on her level but make the situation more well-known to a larger audience as Daigen as done here.
It all comes down to who her main target is at the time. I'm sorry that it's you at the moment, Daigen.

Doesnt matter if you ignore her.. It still goes on.
I have dealt with this woman for near 2 years now. We used to be friends.. sisters even in game. Then things all went sour.
Ive tried ignoring her..didnt talk to her directly in game for a year or so. That didnt work.. things kept on happening. She went to my friends.. people i didnt even know.. and even my guild masters (More then one) and tried to charge me with harassment (Which was never ever proven.) There is no end to the things that seem to just *pop* up.
Hell.. they even brought things to these boards to and tried to bring up my RL.. when trying to ruin my in game life did not work. I am NOT the only one they have done this to.
Ive tried the in your face thing. Telling her exactly how I feel and to leave me alone.
That doesnt work either.
Ive even tried the forgive and forget thing.. which worked for awile.. till about a week later I got some disturbing emails in RL from said person.
I will be the first one to admit that I am a bitch. I am not perfect. I have been known to gossip and let gossip get to me. I agree that because of that.. I deserve some of the things that have been said about me but things going as far as they have is just plain wrong. You do not mess with someones RL because of a game. You just do NOT go there.
I need to apologize to Solice for the way I have acted to her in the past because of said person. I am VERY sorry. It was not her fault in any of this. Same goes for Daigen.
My point after all this? Doesnt matter what you do. Nothing works. Let people find out for themselves.

Funny part is that it works man. Like it or not, I have never encountered a single situation in which backing down from a bully would have fixed it.
In some ways it is kinda sad because they may just move on to the next weaker target but reality is that I take care of me and mine. The rest of the world then needs to take care of its business.

As a sidenote: Peter Whathisname lived next door to my grandmother here in Phoenix. I remember sitting at the pool with him -- by this time he was in college --and he looked EXACTLY the same as he did in Christmas Story.

Here's something that's a brief aside that I find interesting:
The people who're telling Daigen to let it go nearly all play healing classes; myself, Jaera, Patience, Arctura. All the rest of you psychos are screaming for her bloodshed.
There must be some sort of deep, psychological insight to be gleaned there.

There is a rule about harassment I am pretty sure. The only thing is, it is tough to prove unless you have kept logs of it, and they might not always do it in game.
But if they prove it, I think you can get them banned from the server.

Just for the record. I have tried to ignore route, to no avail. She continues to bash - For a normal person I would say yes, leave sleeping dogs lie - Ignore them it usually works best. It seems that in this case that route is not working. So I will confront the issue head-on. You see I believe this. I think about 30-40% of the people that play in Percival come here to troll. If I can get the attention of those 30-40% then that is a small number of folks that I do not have to sit in game and answer tells to as to why this was said, or that was said.
It is plain and simple really. Stand up to a bully. She has tried done this to other people in the past, she has run roughshod over them, and I for one, will not sit idly by and let her do so to me. The other people were very sweet, kind, mature folks who tried to ignore her in hopes that she would stop. She never did. Me, I am a stubborn, patient, hardheaded cuss. She wants to poke at me.. Well, I am going to poke right back - In the future though, I will not stoop to slinging mud back, I will just come out in public and point at her and laugh.
I believe that is what she is going to get from now on from me. Not jabs back at her, those are pointless, but instead I am going to give her just what her actions deserve, derision.
