I will say this about TNO. While I was playing a Bard on Hib/Lance, I grouped and/or followed them on several occassions, usually early-morning, around 2 am or so.
There was rarely more than 7 of them on that late, and they were usually stealther groups with Cyce and a warden thrown in.
Cyce was a pretty nice guy, and TNO played pretty well, so when I started seeing people accusing them of zerging, I just did not believe it... until now.

So, so sad. 2fg of them and they STILL blow Group Purge and AM? How disappointing.
I was in a caster (YES, CASTER) group who was pretty frustrated when they saw their nuke dmg on top of all of the lull/insta mez being tossed around.
But we knew that obviously TNO relied on such abilities to win, so when we encountered them again and their RAs were down, it was a different story.

I'm not bragging. I'm not saying TNO sucks.
I just think that if they invested as much time learning how to play their characters as they did waiting for all 39849384938402984287 of their members to log on and their RAs to come up, they might do a little better vs. a low RR caster group with no active RAs beyond MCL.
So, TNO, keep on zerging please. We'll be back out tomorrow night and hopefully your 2g will, too.
I advise you to go out tomorrow and purchase a good book, because if you have to wait 30 minutes to engage us you're going to be sitting in Crauch crafting, no doubt.

First of all the only reason we lost that fight is because theurg pets last for 60 seconds, but we have now found a way to defeat that crap easy. Second of all I dont think you wanna be bragging when TNO mopped up 60-70 albs with 12-16 people in your frontier today..do you want to see the stack of 36 dead people at eras? I mean thats pretty funny considering I had no RAs up at that time :P
It's our frontier go to mid and cry to them about it if you dont like hib frontier justice.

july... you can not count i swear to god. Before i start, you were rolled countless times tongith, and you post about the one time we did in fact die. that was after we rolled some mids and were spread out.
Then you say we were rolling in 2 full groups? if you consider 8, 12, and 14 on 3 seperate occasions 2fgs.. then i guess we are guilty. but apparently you cant count. Looking at the screen shots shows me the one time you did end up getting rps this night.
And in none of the ss's does it show we have 2fgs... god your a newb.. why did you even post this?

also... all of our tanks have det4, and i have det5. we dont need GP anymore to get around.. so unlike albs we can fight while our RA's our down.

And lull has a recast time of 4 seconds and a power cost of 2. What is your point?

So that's what it is now? Justice. Please don't use the excuse that it's your frontier, especially when there's only 1g Albs running in Emain. You zerg for no reason, and you know it.

I count 15 in my two screenshots combined, and I'm pretty sure there was a dead Bard behind me. That's 16. 2fg.

I was rolled 2 times tonight. Once after you GP'ed/AM'ed (in my before shot) and another at Crauch when you not only used RAs again, but had oj+ guards to help you out.

That's the only time that matters, really. We overcame odds in a "nerfed" group of casters to defeat a larger number of players.
And it wasn't a PUG, it wasn't a bunch of RR2 caster newbs, it was a couple of well-balanced, melee-oriented guild groups.
If we beat 2fg once, and you rolled 1fg twice, that kind of makes it even, ne?

In case you're curious, no, we didn't use BoF or any insta heals. Paladin didn't even have to pop FH.

ummm... you are counting poeple twice between the ss's july..
and the one time we did lose tonight, after we made 30k rps, was when we were spread out chasing mids and you guys hit us with more thne a group.
much of the night in emain we were rollin with 1 fg. We have and still do roll in 2 groups to combat the 60 albs in emain. Albs in emain rolled more then 1 group tonight and we has 8 12 or 14 in a single mob going around.
your ss's dont justify anything because you guys had more albs there then just a group. Not that it matters.. take your 3k rps you made on the night and get a uber l33t RA

Oh wait, TNO would have to not run in 2fg+. I have to agree July, I watched them run in 2fg+. Actully, I have screens of all realms running in more then 2fg "zerging." Every realm does it, not just albs. Everyone zergs, everyone complains, circle of DAoC starts again.

Yeah I ran second group was 4 of us we had no druid..we used no ra's ,we had a pet on each one of us lol some had three. I was at mpk when it started and ran back using end not knowing what was ahead,my group was without my bt and there were pets everywhere lol..woulda gave you kudos for the timeing and trying out the help to thurgs today on patch had you not come here to bash us for something we really didnt do.Would like to know how many thurgs you had anyway wow was alot of pets,wish id had the good sense to take SS when i was running up it looked like 3fg heh. Groups were totally split up or you wouldnt have had time to cast a pet on every person as they ran up to the fight,I died before even reaching your group i was so far away.I dont see you taking groups of 4 really fighting two fgs lol.
Heh there was no mezz on your group.So you had as much as us huh? couple extras? AND we just beat down some mids and split up chasing some who ran when you came up behind us and started casting pets..lol and your not a low RR group..id say youve no bragging rights lol.

i dont mean to interrupt ur nice conversation but the 3 words hibs zerg and emain belong to different languages.
I run in a fg emain at least once a day when there are usually 22-70 hibs on server and we ALWAYS engage more than one group of albs and at least one of mids.
When server reaches 1400 ppl on we are STILL THE SAME GUYS THAT WENT RVR WHEN THERE WERE "" PPL ON, the rest is all from the other 2 realms
Forget the word zerg associated with hibs, if u see a hib zerg, thats the WHOLE hibernian side of the server.

It is in My opinion you havent ever grouped with TNO july.Unless of course you never sold accounts to hib lance,Deleted or what have you. Cause we just started asking others to join in our groups
when we started haveing to make more then one group sometimes,cause of the need for more cause more invaders or cause guildies all wanting to go kill at same time and havent got a needed class.Though that doesnt always stop us from runing another small group without the needed char. But we havent been here long enough for you to have played with us then and made a char on alb to 50 since joining one of our groups on a run like you say..hmm was it several times you say? Also Ive never played with someone as arrogant as to scream obsenities at offending realm once they win..like you do in your SS.Unless youve gone and bought yourself an alb on the winning side ,I believe youve made up that story to be believable in your lies,Comon no one will hate you if you fess up  .
What is it? We play pretty well? or we need to invest time learning or chars?

When I ran Bard you seemed to play pretty well.
But now just outright zerging 1g Albs/Mids with seemingly no reason... that's just pointless.
I try not to participate in zergs, I try to let groups have their 8v8s and what have you, TNO doesn't even do that... whatever~
Keep it up, more RPs for us, and it's a "decent" challenge.

Everyone says to maybe go to odins, but heres the thing. I port to odins, i wait 2hrs, no one cones by, I run to Uppland. No one comes out, 4hrs later, no one to kill and I wasted 4hrs. If i could draw your attention to the pictures u might notice in the 2 where tno lost they where strung out all over the place ? If u pay attention u might notice like 5 in screen grab on all extremes of picture.. Not gathered togther like the way the fight in first picture ? hmm Makes u wonder ? why do they fight togther all bunched up like a good guild assisting each other does yet in yours they r spread to all corners of screen grab ? Mcgowd to stop killin in DF. :P You and Watchout (got it right this time) had a good run.
Also, another question for this thred, what is "zerging." Is that only where you outnumber your enemy? Cause if so, is 3 on 1 or 4 on 1 a zerg. I think so, but what do the expert "zerg analizers(sp)" think. If so, man, could i only count the time i have been zerged by people. Mcgowd included, i have never seen him run solo. His trio always kicks my ass, trio of TNO Stealthers that is.

I stopped running solo emain when i used to go through gate and get jumped by 5 infeds
Df is just fun.. Never attack grey always yello con though when they die can be different story..
Im real life friends with sent and watch so naturally i run with them. I also go over there houses on weekends somtimes and lan/play daoc = for teh win..
U might notice if im not with them 3 im in a fg guild grp. I never run with other stealthers except on the rare occasion so if u see me hunting with those 3 thats it.. those 3. not for not 5 or 2fg.. When i emain it with them and always will be.. Thats what real life friends do play togther..
Also i roam emain and apk alot so i can post some great screen dumps for all u guys who like posting em of albs camping there keep in grps of 3.. lol got a good one of an alb grp hiding behind trees.. 1 g albs comming running back to draw mids in and the ones behind tree jump em.. was a good laugh.. Mids did it fair but cant do much when u get jumped by 3 g at alb pk lol

lol, only got 3 hits off. I had been huntiing you 2 for about 20+ min, watching the boddies fall, just never close enough to catch up with ya. Always fun fighting you. To bad it had to end that way, with 4 on you guys, glad you didnt gank my guildie friar at the top.
I also respect the small group with friends. I tend to normally run solo unless A. I have my friends on (2 other stealthers also) or B. Get killed by 3 or more stealthers at amg. Other then that, its always fun to run with friends.

People really need to learn to stop trying to tell others how to play. I have had some great 8 vs 8 with TNO.
And at least TNO is out there fighting, without them it would only be middy savage gank groups in emain.

Everyone says to maybe go to odins, but heres the thing. I port to odins, i wait 2hrs, no one cones by, I run to Uppland. No one comes out, 4hrs later, no one to kill and I wasted 4hrs. Or i could port to emain and have instant action. So if you are telling albs to put the middie necklace on, well, Hibs should to and mids should run out, till then, Inc Emain
Not true at all, i prefer to run in midgard cause numbers there are more balanced.
I run with less than a grp there sometimes only 4 ppl and we always go to uppland and we always engage ppl there.
And we always get rolled eventually by more numbers....but thats the fun of it
More than often we find a very small grp of albs too oh and theres always an iconnu caster that likes to backstab us while we fight with mids at their own border keep :P

Ok, time to lay it all to rest.
First screenie, 1FG of TNO, heavy tankage, with a tag along group consisting of a Warden, Eldrich, Bard, Hero. 1st grade math tells me that is exactly 12 people. Yes you were, "outnumbered." But it's not my fault the 4-6 stealthers around there didn't help you fight at all. BTW, there was at least 2 cause we popped their stealth shortly after you died. And yeah, you weren't that good to use ra's right there boyo's. Might have used GP but any sorc with have a brain should know its bugged right now and you can re-cc the majority of the time. Sorry you guys didn't figure that out.
2nd screenie - Yeah are RA's were down, and yeah our group was spread out from fighting 10 or so mids that were near the mmg. We were chasing down stragglers. Now in group, I gave your group alot of props. You guys picked out the naturalists w/o a hitch. Warden, Druid, and my healthbar just dropped from the never ending/never dieing earth pets. I mean the theurgists pretty much took our support out of the game at the same time, thats a hard feet for any group to accomplish. However, you WERE running more then 8, and at that time we didn't know how to deal with earth pets. Usually just run from em until they are dead, had no idea they had less hp's then a grey mob. After we realized we could own earth pets up you guys got rolled, by MK ( we killed 11 on it and THEN your group came in late and got owned), by Amg, by APK(not counting the screenshotted one). You yourself might not have been in all of those group fights, but the majority of the same people were, I really don't right down names of people we kill.
And please, stop trying to make yourselves feel good by belittling someone who is trying to post here. This is the VN board, not english lit. Anybody with half a sense could understand what Cheq was posting, but instead of taking into account what she said you people just try to tear her down because she didn't care to take the time to make her post a formal essay. I'm sure you guys will find some misspelled words or sentence structure issues in my post, copy and paste it like a good little boy/girl and make a witty remark please.

Hibs come on guys wtf stop fighting back, we've been owning your frontier up, down and sideways for a few months now and having a challenge is NOT fun. Please stop coming out to defend your own frontier because as everyone CLEARLY knows emain is only to be use by mids and albs to claim darkness falls.
After you guys dropped the second keep in hib frontier within minutes we had 70+ hibs there..maybe you should think about moving all your 8v8 and ZvZ out to albion land..Im sure mid wont mind maybe they can pick up some shiny str relics while there :P

I never responded about this zerg bs. I was just clearing up facts and pointing out whoever those theurgists were did a pretty damn good job. That and the fact some a holes here were trying to make themselves feel good at my guilde's expense.

Haha, thats the funniest thing I've heard all day. Only time we died in odins was to *gasp* superior numbers, TK/Deleted (pimps), or Mids who are so scared they hug the BK till we get close enough for them to use the guard saftey net. We've kicked Roc/LV/Ice dragons and others out of Odins so many times I lost count (they have killed us as well). Good fights with *gasp* one group, dun dun dun. But sadly, like many others have experienced.... Mids dont play in odins anymore, therefore we don't go there.
Besides, we know how to run a "gank" group on this server. Deleted, RoC, LV, O.o, and even TF (although they still deny it), have seen us run 8v8 and run it well. I actually pity you other guilds because you don't have such a great RvR player base as we do and a dedication to try to involve them all. Maybe if you haters actually took the time to try and organize guild groups so that they can play together you would have more active RvR participation and peeps would find better things to whine about on this board then a guild that plays together.
But hey you like 8man group thats fine, TNO..well we like to have everyone playing together, until you guys understand that concept your lives will obviously be miserable and you will continue to complain here. /comfort

Well I remember an instance in odins where you caught a TNO 8 person group from behind otw back to HPK in odins and landed a mez and you got worked w/ out our group losing a single player. Lots of pallies in the group, not sure if you were in that group. Was a 5min fight, but your guild got worked just the same. I remember this fight because I wasn't sure how exactly we won, came to the conclusion you guys just aren't that good. I also remember your guild being the dipsticks that didn't know what to do when we ran by them w/ the relics on the zone wall in Penn, gg. Looked like deer in headlights.
I can probably recall some more instances with your guild, but frankly your not worth anymore of my time here. Your guild is just slightly better then the average Alb group. But long way to go to TK or even TF/Treya status. Move along with your accusations and save it for someone with whom they hold true or has a really bad memory. Neither of which apply to me or my guild.
I love 8v8... but because I'm having fun in a good guild group, does that mean I let 4-5 of my friends sit around having no fun? You people have no sense.

I can neither deny nor support this allegation, due to the fact that I personally was on vacation for two weeks during this period of time and was thus not present at said incident...you would have to ask some other O.o that was around during that time (I won't deny that it could have been, because myself and 2 other of our "core" members were on vacation at the same time, and the guild languished a bit RvR-wise).

Ok i did not read all this thread but i read enough. All you albs that come on here complaining about 2 fg zergs are pathetic. Dont sweat it TNO, they did the same bs to us when RoC ran 2fgs on a regular basis. We usually have 1 fg on that rvrs atm but if we have enough guildies that WANT to rvr we sure as hell will run 2 fgs. Dont listen to these tools. Hi im a alb that ports to pk with 100 other albs and then complain about 2fg of hibs that have to run all the way from realm gates. Pls stfu.

and Paxus, more then half the time the situation i brang up was true, sure you sometimes ran your 2gs when the zerg was out, but half the time, you CREATED the zerg by running in 2g's first.

Both Andred and Mordred were fun for a month or 2 but there was no objective. Noone was ever worth RPs(which is fairly annoying seeing as this was the objective), relics changed hands everyday(because there was no population to defend them except your guildmates) there was 0 population even in its hayday(hell even hib lance has more pvp action than Andred did after tons of people got rolled) Everyone on all sides of the Andred fighting declared the server stupid and ruleset retarded along with other things that dont work on a pvp server and everyone quit(ie why andred got rolled in mordred).
The reason Mordred didnt go into extinction like Andred is because that is were 80% of the goobers went that got griefed off of Andred by Combine/CoE and TC/DDH(so there was an extra cushion of people). A good 300-400 people promptly left those 2 "joke" PvP servers to try out Shadowbane and upon seeing it was an even bigger joke after rolling 2000 people OFF of the Scorn server, promptly returned to DAoC for RvR so at least we had someone to PK.
If you think leveling on Mordred is any harder than leveling on a regular server then maybe you should get out and explore. I went from 1-50 on both Andred(healer, thane) and Mordred(cabalist) with little interruption exping in the frontier and out of the way god forsaken places like bog and this was before SI came out which I imagine can only make the PvP servers more carebearish because the world is so gigantic you can hide all over. Though I dont know exactly how they handle it I'm sure they didnt cut access of to SI to all 3 realms. I can imagine it will only get worse when ToA comes out because there's an even LARGER void of empty space to go running around looking for people to kill. Im sure it's fun for people who use radar or daox like some Mid/Merlin guilds use to *cough*, but for regular people who just wanna PK at least on regular servers you KNOW where the action will be.
So save the Mordred is hardcore for someone who didnt experience the boredom firsthand. Hell I even have an LGM armorcrafter and I sat in bledmeer all day crafting to get it thats how much action I saw :/

There's an old saying called, "Shut up and play", I remember my daoc box saying RvR not Hibs vs Mids vs Albs vs TNO vs Deleted vs O.o vs TF vs Ice Dragons vs TLV vs etc..
Everyone does their own thing everyone pays their 13$, not gonna leave guildies who wanna rvr sit at DL and waste their 13$ a month..though in Alb maybe you guys wanna do that to trim your population in which case we'll gladly take those neglected people and add them to the "Hib Zerg" that everyones talking about.

I don't care, honestly. When I play DAoC, I'm either solo'ing, or playing with a group of people I enjoy being around.

For those of you making comments on my post and not understanding the statement.

It was relating that they had 10 people we had 11 and we were spread out,And the "no thats me nm" was sarcasm,saying WE usually meet up with more then that most the time.

Also the guy that wants to call us out to do 8V8 best out of 5...well I feel thats same as duels,Which I HATE.
I also wouldnt wanna set anything up with a guild who has an a$$ speaking for them.

Here is what ive gathered so far from all the h8 on TNO.
Albs are allowed to trample through Emain with 4 to 6fg and noone really posts about that. Albs think they are superior and know the "Right" way to RVR . So what they are trying to say is were stupid for trying to bring a gun to a shootout, and what we should do is bring a knife to thier gunfights. Basicly we are suppose to bend over and hand them some KY and say sorry sir I didnt mean to break your Alb code of proper RVR in Emain.
Get over your arrogence and learn to count. I think weve run 3fg on only 1 occasion, yet I've seen posts of ppl saying we zerged them with 2 to 4fg. Just admit that your used to winning all the time, and when someone throws a challenge your way you bitch cause it hurts you too bad to lose.
Cry more please Cry me a river of salty tears,and hold your stuffed animals tight at night cause your all acting like a bunch of spoiled ass children.

I never said it was okay for Albs to run 4-6fg in Emain. In fact I disagree with it, and the only time you'll find me with more than 1g Albs is at APK, or if Hibs/Mids are camping AMG, or at a RR/keep take.
I don't think it's okay for Albs to zerg for no reason, and I think it's dumb that TNO runs 2g+ at 3 am when there's 1g Albs in Emain.

And from this thread, the following will now be expected of all Albs and Hibs... Mids are working as intended:
From this day forward, every RvR battle is to begin with a headcount and a roll call. If Julyan is leading any of the groups, any more than your 1g is disqualified from competing in RvR. VN flames will follow verbal warning.
If Julyan is ever in Emain, you are no longer allowed to form more than 8 people to run with. If you do happen to meet the 4, 6, 8 groups of Albs out there, they are by all means goign to engage you, and that is just sorry luck on your part.
Defending Emain by whatever means possible is also against current etiquette. It will no longer be considered the "Hibernian Frontier". Instead, it will be referred to as "dm_emain.bsp". Albs are still allowed to send 120 people to take back a keep or secure a milegate in Hadrians. Hibs, you are not afforded this luxury, especially as long as Julyan is playing that night. 8 people, stick to it.
Anyone not following this strict code will be subject to further assishness.

Only problem I have with TNO is them rolling multiple groups during off hours.
Mornings used to be 4-8 people looking for fights in emain.
And most of the folks who run in the mornings run at that time because its traditionally has been the best time for 8vs8 play and the best time for good competitive play and it used to be the one time that you didnt need a ton of people, a perfectly balanced group or 10 billion rpts to compete.
So yeah when morning folks complain about a 2-3 group zerg, well...mornings 2 groups is a zerg.
While I applaud their effort to breath life into hib/lance, its unfortunate that they need to run their 3 groups all together at 3-4 am in the morning....

lol like the post about 3 TNO grps running and 1 alb grp.. thats funny.. Have never seen that before.. Truly made me laugh.
I also have screen grabs of so called am only 1 g alb bs of at least 3+g camping there pk ? WTF how u ask ? according to albs at this time u will find less than 1 alb grp and 3 tno grps ? though also at this time u will usually find prolly max 80 hibs on server which is common for that time.. yet u claim that tno can seem to magically cover over 1/4 of the hib population ? Now if u look at TNO character page we have 3 pages of 50s... hmmm yea..
I love it when im roaming amg-apk stealthing and do who emain.. i see lol usually no more than 14 in emain yet i see scores of albs running by and the odd mids grp..
All i gotta say is thanx for comming son that u think hibs can ever out numb albs in emain (OMG EVEN THOUGH ITS OUR FRONTIER)no matter what time son. good game and thanx for playing daoc

Yeah albs dont quite grasp that concept, when they see 30 hibs/mids in hadrians its a keep raid or a relic raid(and they bust out 50+, sometimes 100+)..when we see 60-90 albs in emain its a normal, everyday thing.

Phelankell, is maturity something that just ... blossoms for you like a perennial flower, then goes away for another 364 days? I know you .. well, PLAY on this server so I'm sure you see what's it's like at least 1/10 the time, so I would imagine you do realize that at most times, the Albion population is large enough to be running two separate massive keep overtakes, killing the dragon, farming Caer Sidi, crafting 80 people to LGM, leveling another 28 bandwagoned infiltrators, and leave an additional 6-8 groups between the APK and AMG.
Are we just supposed to keep streaming out in 1g, 1g, 1g, 1g like a time-released RP pill? We do have groups that run 8v8, but why should every Hib that goes out to defend their OWN FRONTIER go out in a single group and pray to god they don't run into the pack of 48 drooling Albs rabid for their 15 realm points?

Because they can afford to do this, especially in their situation and with their population, where it's just 10 silver and 7 minutes AFK while Master Visur sends them to dm_emain.bsp. Even then, with 3 separate groups of 8 out there, there's still guaranteed another 40 Borging around in a giant assimilatory mass.
