Right click your desktop

Navigate to New -> Text Document

Name that whatever you want, then open it. That's where you can paste your links and save.

Is it just hung or should I still let it chug away. I am using firefox if that matters. Also, can I log out of VN here while it's running or will that mess it up?

That's what I did. Mine had been "Connecting" since 8:30 AM. I know I have more pages of PMs than probably anybody still posting here, but I just don't think it was working.
