Welcome to the Vault Network forum archive.

This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	It has been confirmed that IGN is going to be consolidating the VN message boards. They will be moving some to the IGN side, and dropping others completely. It has not been revealed which boards will receive the axe, and which will live on. As an alternative, I have opened up our guild website to the entire Asheron's Call community. We at the Neon Knights have not gamed together as a group for several years, so everything I put up 2 years ago has basically just sat collecting dust. I have gone in and re-adjusted the Forums for complete Asheron's Call support, which includes INDIVIDUAL SERVER Forums, like this one, that you are accustomed to. The Forums are feature rich, and are extremely similar to how these are setup. The learning curve will be almost non-existent and transparent. We have other nice features, like file attachments within forum posts, etc. The website itself is also a full featured content management system, so besides the Forums, there are also Download areas, Weblinks, etc. I welcome any and all to come sign up, and begin helping to build what might be the last community effort in full support of Asheron's Call, that is not connected to, or run, by Turbine. The Neon Knights have been in existence before AC Beta, and as the site is run on a dedicated server, we will maintain it until Turbine turns off the lights on AC. 	Sorry to say it, but if AC:VN dies so does all forums other than the official AC boards. You will never see a jump from one board site to another. It just won't happen. People will not make the transfer. <3 -----signature----- . .. ... .... ..... <3

	After all I've seen from nearly 2 decades of organized online gaming, the one consistent that -is- the most consistent is change. I didn't really like that back in the day, which is why I began the journey into web development. I always wanted someplace that -I- could guarantee would be there, and I accomplished that on behalf of all the other people who also enjoyed things that don't 'close down'. I've met many of these people IRL, attended weddings, watched them begin families, job adventures, you name it. A Forum is a very special place, and although social sites like Facebook have certainly taken their toll on Forums, I think they are still valid. What else can I do? If you don't want to make a 'jump', I can't force you to. All I can do is hold the door open and shake your hand on the way in, if you decide to do that someday. I have set up what I feel will meet the needs of the many right up front, and have the ability to create anything else that might make things more comfortable down the road. I am, and have always been, a slave to my community, and I couldn't imagine it any other way. If a few can't get around taking two minutes to make a new account, and jump right in like nothing changed, then I completely understand that. I've seen it happen countless times. If you want to come, and help build it, it will be all that much better with you present and accounted for, and that holds true for every personality back here.
