I can honestly say, I have never once used an alt on this board.
I've WANTED to a few times so I could tell a few people how I really felt, but I was always worried I would get caught and that would look real bad so I never did it. So I told them how I felt with my main account and those people usually hated me ever after, which was ok with me.

Never had one. I always stay logged into the boards because I can't remember my e-mail associated with the board...
Amusing story:
Years and years ago, just after the IGN merge, I had a create a new e-mail on my domain, because it wouldn't let me use my old one for my new TheUnholyGhost account. It kept saying my e-mail was already in use for my TheGhost account that got hosed. A few years after that, they made it so you logged in with your e-mail account, instead of your account name.
So...since I always stay logged in, I never thought about it. A couple of months after they required the e-mail addy to log in, I can't log into the board. I tried EVERYthing I could think of, and for days I was unable to access to VN, because my login e-mail JUST WASN'T WORKING.
So I sent a profanity laced (Shocker, I know) e-mail to....whoever answers that "Why is my login fracked" link, about how the boards were fraked, and I couldn't log into the goddamn site, and this merge with IGN was bullchit because of all the issues it was causing....pretty sure I called them nazi's at some point...
His simple reply?
"You're using the wrong e-mail address. You're one digit off at the end."
Ohhhhhhhhhh.  Whoops.

Not that anyone cares or remembers but I've had a few. Not by choice but usually because I moved and got new internet companies/accounts/emails. Usually I was ok until something made me log in again, so I would just make a new account.
I am mostly a lurker anyway, don't care about postcounts or whatever. One thing I always kept though was my icon. Every account I ever posted on had it.
