Why is it that tall characters do more DPS than short ones?

So I was derping about with some damage tests and my short troll zerker was doing less damage than my tall troll zerker. Identical stats, weapons, target, etc.

You tested the damage of the tall troll zerker first, and during the test your weapons degraded. after you forgot to repair and tested your short troll zerker, you noticed a decrease in damage.

Any melee damage test with <500 swings isn't worth anything as a reference. And 500 is still low.

And honestly, since if you are at 50+20 in spec your variance is going to be extremely negligible, you could do 10 swings and know if there is a difference since it's not a random sampling.
I take it by your 500 is still low remark that someone in a high school algebra class mentioned that they would like to have large sample sizes.
I could go on about n>30 sample size and random or optimal distribution or how the closer you get to binomial the easier it is to figure out if something is statistically significant (and testing with high WS and limited variance) is fairly close to binomial, like where you get the same number each time.
Or do you honestly think you need 500+ swings at all between 350 and 359 before you can say conclusively what an average is? It was probably the same at 10, 30, 100 and so on.

Maybe you could just say "if his damage doesn't vary much, he doesn't need a very large sample size," instead of being long-winded?
