my guess is that the bomb techs deconstucted the IED and the call came in to det the bomb, hence the 1 missed call on the display

I thought the point was that it did blow, the screen is cracked and there is a missed call. it seems reasonable to me that an IED would be set to detonate on an incoming call.. not necessarily answer it.
