Yep we did the same thing a couple months back- one guy bought all the tickets in the pool, photocopied all of them, and everyone got a copy. That way, no question of shenanigans.

Yep - every time a group at our work buys tickets together this is what we do to make sure these stories don't happen. Sounds like someone is just trying to get greedy. Good luck winning that one in court. "Yes, your honor, I was the one to buy tickets for the group. Yes, I bought the tickets. But, I bought this one ticket just for me. Honest. I even put it in a separate pocket so I wouldn't confuse them. Why would I lie about this?"
