Going to Vegas in June- What are your favorite places to visit?
|
Last time I was there (2010) my party I went with was super lame, so we stayed in/around our hotel, didn't really go out, mainly cause we stayed at Mandalay Bay.
This time the party is smaller, and we're staying at The Flamingo so we will be taking advantage of being in the middle of the strip and partying.
Any suggestions as to where to go?

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus- "I could go for some cock"--cute_but_stupid

The Flamingo? don't go into the courtyard there, it SMELLS. I don't have any favorite places to go except poolside drinking. I liked the shopping at Ceasars. Watch the Bellagio fountains at night. Take the bus down to Freemont St. for the light show and the weirdos. Meh.

-Behind the Flamingo (off strip) an Italian Restaurant about a block away called "Batista's Hole in the Wall". Best Italian food you'll have in Vegas, extremely reasonably priced (like $15-$20), all you can drink wine. I go here EVERY trip. -Mandalay Bay, House of Blues very good drinks, have some decent entertainment there. -New York New York, the dualing piano bar in the middle of the casino (name?) and the Irish pub are good. The ESPN sport centre in there is good too if you want to watch an event. -MGM Grand, Craftsteak for dinner. $100.00+ a plate but really good. Next to it is Emeril's restaurant which is about $60.00/plate for pretty darn good food. -The Bellagio, they have a good Scotch&Cigar Bar in there...can't recall the name. -(edit) Margaritaville seems to be popular with the ladies, but better(more booze) and cheaper and bigger Margarita's at Mandalay Bay in the House of Blues during Happy Hour (3pm-6pm I think...) -Ceasars Palace the Forum, cool place to walk around and buy expensive stuff -The Venetian, inside near the indoor river there is a small cafe that does a decent breakfast (and cheap!). A nice 'outdoor' indoor experience. -Stratosphere for cheap gambling. (I left it assuming you wouldn't care...) -Sapphire (A), or Spearmint Rhino (A+) for strippers [girls]...no clue where you'd go to see dudes...

Been to the places in Mandalay Bay, and to New York New York's Piano bar. Bellagio was awesome for the fountains, and Ceasar's Palace/Venetian were pretty awesome for shopping wise.
Wasn't a fan of Margaritaville myself, and I don't know that anywhere super expensive food wise is in the question.
Thanks for the suggestions

NP If you want to see the Grand Canyon I did a helicopter tour and I recommend it (took like 3 hours vs. bus tours or other things that are full on day trips). Was I think $250-$300/person...but you fly in a helicopter into the Grand Canyon....and you're in a helicopter. HELICOPTER. (my 2cents is the Grand Canyon is supremely over rated and a solid 'meh' so don't buy the hype that it's a 'must see'...it's a hole, a big hole that's pretty, but a hole none the less)

Meh - I've flown in helicopters before. Benefit of having a dad who flies a personal aircraft. He was friends of the man who flew the A's helicopter. I'll save my money to see the large pretty hole when I go on a tour of the united states :P
Jezza - that's already in the books as a plan.

I'm super spoiled, but this one isn't with him Going with my sisters, step-mom and my Aunt to celebrate my sister's 25th birthday/graduating with her masters.
However, another vacay with the boytoy is in the making Except the next one is going to be outside of CA/NV. Probably Hawaii or Mexico.

Well well, looks like we'll need to meet up and try to hunt down AK together. Based on his post history and my imagination, I am fairly sure this is what he looks like:
