Having trouble with my AC account

*** Note *** I have not EVER shared my Asheron's call account info with anybody in the past, its been exactly the same since 2007, was always able to renew my subscription with no problems until recently!

Ok so I decided to come back to AC to try out the new febuary patch etc, I download the AC client, everything is going smooth with the installation.. I click on maintain account to re-sub, type in my AC account info like i've been doing flawlessly with out fault since 2007, then I type in the stupid Captcha code they added..and BAM error blah blah, please remember password are case sensitive.
Sure np, ill try again, then I get an error saying my info isn't even correct..Alright, ill go get the paper with the login info written down out, and TRY again for the 3rd time. Same error, but something struck me funny this time about Turbines new Captcha code they wanted me to solve. Why do they have chinese,and korean dilect symbols in it? My keyboard wouldn't even be able to provide those symbols for them, in order for me to gain acess to my turbine billing info?? wtf is this crap !?!

So in conclusion, I am at the end of my rope with Asheron's call. I'm hoping someone here can help me log into this game..would love for someone to explain the logic behind the heavy security that Turbine has implemented recently? I know my account is still there for me to use, but im starting to wonder why the launch page keeps telling me my login info is incorrect, but prior to the new Captcha system being introduced, my login info always worked?
Is everyone calling up to renew their subs now?? Or are people actually successful with the new double layers of password security?

You get frustrated faster than Turbine anticipated. They always give B.S. unsolvable captchas. In their defense, that is usually subbed out to someone else, like Google. But yeah, its still a pain. I like to pay as I go, and I always have to attempt it atleast twice per account.
The odd symbols come from reCAPTCHA, which is google trying to digitize books. The first word is a control word and just a regular group of letters all smudged around. The second is a scanned word or symbol or phrase from a book. They scan books and turn the words into pictures and use them on captchas at sites across the web. The idea is, if you get the control word right, you'll get the scanned word right, too, and you've just written one word of a digitized book for google. :-)
The good news is, the computer doesn't know if you get the scanned word right or not. You can usually spot the CONTROL word. On AC, it won't be a real word and will have a black smudge behind it. As long as you type in that word correct, you can just bang on the keyboard for the other one (or just put one character). It's fun and you get the self-satisfaction of knowing they won't be able to use your reCAPTCHA to digitize old books.

Thanks for the tip, but it seems like they are making it extra hard for people to come back. Was checking out the Rift forums here, and it seems like they making it impossible for people to come back too.

This Captcha security is freeking bogus, you can't get into your billing account, even when you put in the correct security code LOL.Guess everybody has to call up now to play?

At one point, yes actually a lot of people had to call up Turbine (not a toll-free call, long hold times) and talk to a rep to have it fixed.

Ok cool, but I'm just saying that the Captcha code they have is completely not working at all. Someone should tell the people in charge of this game, that its damn near impossible to maintain your account online =(
