This bike a wild wicked woman of a ride. She can move and if im not on it she will kick me off. This is definitely not a beginners bike. I just was all smiles when I was not scanning 360 for external danger and saying to myself wtf, I just touched the throttle barely and I am futzing moving. The Pirelli tires need to be heated up to get the right performance. The Exhaust note is an unmistakable whistle- bad ass! I m still a bit afraid to get back on it. I have images taken of me I will post. But for some reason I need an external memory card put in the phone to get them off my phone. I got a Red Street Triple R., with some accessories coming in 3 weeks, A black Scorpion EXO 500 helmet, a Strength and Speed Seven Sins Black Leather Jacket and some black Triumph gloves. I bought the bike in the belly of the beast, Triumph of LA. It has been a year since I have rode a bike. Last ride was a Harley Fatboy. Traffic time in LA is a dangerous time. As a man, we never grow up. We are always little boys when it comes to toys. Have mercy!

take a riding class to get your confidence up. maybe you can make some buddies, worst case you make everyone jealous with your fancy new gear. fear is a survival instinct for a reason.

I'm not much on crotch rockets anymore but I have been considering a BMW 1600 GT or GTL, these things can move with an inline 6 cylinder motor but are still a touring bike.

Im not too proud to take a safety class again. I have been riding almost 30 years. When you are done drinking the Harley Kool aid and want a beast , check out this beast, a Triumph Rocket. Rocket sounds about right for you, Bonzo.

If you are not a little afraid of the motorcycle, then it's the wrong bike. The problem is every movement needs an awareness. The brakes on this bike are excellent. I just flat out will never drive this bike in the rain. If Im on the road and it rains , I'm parking and going to stay until it passes. This may make for some unexpected adventures. I keep toying with the idea of taking lessons and then buying a bike for my mid life crisis. Probably less dangerous than riding a 20-something. That said, I watched a guy in the lane next to me slam into and then under the back of a dump truck on his bike just yesterday. He crawled out from underneath it and didn't appear to be injured but I swear I don't know how. Scared the hell out of me. I see stuff like that and I start rethinking the 20-something.

I'm telling you dude, you need to write an autobiography. Grats on the new bike. I rode mine not to long ago and driving on the streets with it was intense. People just don't see me.

What is a twenty something? I started out small and worked my way up. I think a 250 is a good starter bike. I'm smiling and driving. It is flat out fun. A woman on a bike is just irresistibly attractive. I bought a 2012 Diablo Red Street Triple R. I really like the look and performance of Triumph. You can buy a used bike and save tons of money, Swirly. I have to pay someone to work on mine. That is why I buy new, too. I cant unscrew anything without having extra bolts when Im done. Im reading the futzing manual on this bike, though.

I started riding a Honda Trail 70cc when I was 10 and just kept going up, my dad started trail riding back in the early 60s so we were out a lot.

Sounds like fun, bikes are awesome and in CA I've noticed, since people are allowed to lane split, they're use in LA must be awesome I once tried to ride my friend's scooter and I froze up when I cranked the gas peddle on and wasn't able to turn. I crashed into the curb. He wasn't mad at me, or at least he thought the situation was much more hilarious than furious I have no fear of riding a motor cycle though, even though when I was very young I was in a motor cycle accident without a helmet on and got messed up pretty bad

You, of all people, have to ask? A 20-something is normally a person.

Oh! So you are drinking from the fountain of youth. Go on and give yourself permission. It's a joy available to women now. Ultimately, Jordan, its really all about self acceptance aging. Nobody, but you can give you this. If you want to give yourself a real present: love yourself and be aware when you are unduly criticizing yourself. Then you dont need the mirror image. I am identifying with my bike: I'm a fast lean street hooligan. Im the man your mama and girl friends warned you not to date. I'm far from this. I am really a gentle soul. Ultimately I could give that bike away tomorrow and be just as happy. But why- life is made for fun and relaxation? Make aware living a priority and be all the woman you can be, whatever way you want to be.
