Findit! or something like it

All I want is a plug in that tell me if there is a major or epic on the monster corpse :-)
Findit! continually crashes on me when I open a monster corpse. Same error, Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error c:\turbine\asheron's call\acclient.exe. I get that same error on 3 different win7 machines.
Im not an ACM'er, so I loot by hand. I hate thinking that I'm missing loot!
Any tips/help?

VTank has the most complete looter (if you can figure it out). Download someone's sample profile and you should get a decent set of rules. http://magtools.codeplex.com/releases/view/78138

Are you sure it's FindIt! that's causing you to crash? One thing I found is that I had to put Armor Levels in for the armor rules, even though I'm not looking for armor, to keep FindIt from crashing. Post a Decal Export.

^^^ this If you mess with the armor settings (like trying to shut them off), FindIt! will crash. That being said, I never found FindIt! to be reliable for looting corpses. It's very slow for one. It's perfect for finding monsters, player corpses, plants, markers, that kind of stuff. I think you'd be better off to keep looking for a proper loot util, this isn't friendly/good, even when it's working.

Sounds like all your asking for is something to ID loot. Try Tings and see if it works for you. http://flipo.roogon.com/ Under Ubers tab check 'Enable' and 'Majors Only' and when you open a corpses it will inform you of any Epic/majors. If all you want is this IDing feature you can skip the installation procedure about firebird and ACCompanion, but really you be missing out on all those goodies that ACCompanion provides.

Thank you gents for the tip.
I was indeed removing the armor values and as soon as I put a value back in, I no longer crash! Thanks a ton, it was so frustrating.
I will also look into Tings, thanks for the suggestion.
See you in Dereth!
