	Those protection plans run concurrently with manufacture warranties, so the overlap generally gets you little extra if anything. You would have to read the fine print to know for sure. -----signature----- (none)

	Make sure you find out every little detail about this plan, when and what it covers, and what Best Buy will do for you in case something breaks. I know that office max offers a similar policy and yes it is worth it if you have the extra money to spend on stuff like laptops, they offer 3 year plans with accidental damage coverage from day 1. So if you drop the computer 2 years from the date you buy it, office max warranty service will refund your purchase price. 	It's almost never worth it to buy the extended protection plans that are offered by Best Buy. A quick Google search regarding the BB protection plans shows lots and lots of rip-offs. -----signature----- Nothing to see here...

	i usually dont get them unless it's like a laptop or my kids Ipod Touch. we got it on his because there is no control nor order in his mothers house. one of his siblings used it as a hockey puck...BB replaced it with one of the newer ones with no hassles. my sister is rough as hell with her laptops and has had 3 or 4 replaced...one of them they even transferred all her files for her too. wife smashed a coffee pot...we got a whole new machine...that plan cost us $10. something sitting on a table...cant say that i would though. -----signature----- Now i LIVESTRONG GO PATRIOTS Yankees SUCK!
