Whats funny about Christianity

From historic perspective Jesus was a Jewish reformist. He wanted to change judaism, not fracture it to different sects.
He also never directly claimed to be THE son of god (more than rest of us are his children) yet hundreds of years after his death some old guys in Rome decided "Son of god" sounded nicer than "Jewish religious activist"

There are several passages in the new testament quoted by Jesus that directly suggest he is the son of god. The language is unmistakable. At the very least, what he did say in a few instances would be blasphemous if he was not the son of god.
