Can't comment on childbirth. Other stuff from mild to bad..
Broken finger, wrist, etc. Take some aspirin.
Self stitches on shin (mild machete accident). There is a reason you pull the thread real slow. Go fast and you'd swear someone was cutting your leg off with a dull saw.
3 cracked ribs. Not bad as long as you don't breathe. Lasted for months. Did it at sea, so doctor wasn't even an option for the first 5 weeks. We had hydrocodone and morphine on board, didn't use any. Laughing hurt a lot. Pulling sails and such hurt even worse.
Cutting a golf-ball sized cyst out of my arm. (X-acto knife and a plastic orange peeler thing to dig around under the skin). Hurt a lot. Had to stop several times. Was over some sort of pain threshold by the time I finished cleaning it out, so sewing it back up didn't even register.
2nd degree burns on my whole forearm, with 3rd degree on finger tips and back of hand. Toughed it out for 2 days with no painkillers other than aspirin and ice. Not quite rational at times, impossible to sleep. Wussed out and went to get a Hydrocodone prescription. Which felt like it did nothing for the pain, but I could get stoned enough to sleep at least.

some women had labors that lasted under 10-20 minutes, and barely hurt ( I've asked numerous ones who had quick labours)

We all handle the pain we get. Child birth is one thing but its natural and most women cry and scream and demand drugs and yell at their loved ones (do not handle it).
We all handle the pain we are given; men are taught from a young age that only pussies cry so most men dont cry when they feel pain. A lot of men dont even complain or visit the dr. and its a known problem (men dont make others aware of thteir pain until its too late and potentially hide something serious).

Benjamin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later moved to New Jersey. After graduating from Woodbury High School in Woodbury, New Jersey, he joined the Army from nearby Carneys Point[1][2] in August 1943.[3]
He was a radio operator, advancing in the rear of his company as it engaged a well-defended Japanese strong point holding up the progress of the entire battalion. When a rifle platoon supporting a light tank hesitated in its advance, he voluntarily and with utter disregard for personal safety left his comparatively secure position and ran across bullet-whipped terrain to the tank, waving and shouting to the men of the platoon to follow. Carrying his bulky radio and armed only with a pistol, he fearlessly penetrated intense machinegun and rifle fire to the enemy position, where he killed 1 of the enemy in a foxhole and moved on to annihilate the crew of a light machinegun. Heedless of the terrific fire now concentrated on him, he continued to spearhead the assault, killing 2 more of the enemy and exhorting the other men to advance, until he fell mortally wounded. After being evacuated to an aid station, his first thought was still of the American advance. ^^ If men weren't designed to be able to block pain out and move forward then men would not have been so eager to go to war. Considering how nasty war is (especially in the past) - it's no question that the men who suffered death from an infected wound, arrow, hot oil, torture, arm chopped off, etc.. were handling great amounts of pain.
