Manning wouldnt go to Seattle, too small a market. If he gets dealt or cut he'll go to a huge market.

They don't think he will be healed by then and able to play again? Jeeze. He rocks their team for years, gets hurt one year, and he's sent to the glue factory like a lame horse. No wonder people don't want to be franchise players anymore.

Cutt, if you look hard at the Seahawks you will see that with a very good QB they are legitimate SB contenders.

i dont think it was, but Peyton is a class act unlike his brother and father so he stuck with who chose him. honestly i cant picture him in any other uniform. where he lands though, they BEST have a stone wall offensive line!

They are getting Andrew Luck. And as of right now it looks like it's the same as getting another Peyton Manning rookie.

I'd like to think he'd fit in with the Vikings. He could start and coach up Ponder for the future.
But...I cringe at what would have to be given up to get him. I still remember the Herschel Walker trade and how it, for all intents and purposes, won 3 Super Bowls for the Cowboys.

I'd love that, but knowing how that goes it would probably mean Manning would be plagued by injury and it would be like getting a banged up Favre again. Are you thinking they'd give up AP? That could be risky, who knows how he will play after his knee surgery. ETA: I think MN is still dying for a winning team though. They had a taste 2 years ago. The new stadium will get approved shortly and they will want to fill the trophy case.

I never thought he would be traded, still don't Does anyone really think Colts are going to get rid of Peyton Manning on the off chance hope that Luck is going to be as good as they say he's going to be?

Me neither. But I was very impressed with Tebow in college. The NFL is very different. If they say Luck is an NFL QB I think I will believe them.

The only way that Peyton goes somewhere else is if he isn't going to recover. I cannot possibly see a scenario where Irsay thinks that it is a good idea to cut him and have him play somewhere else...

But before you go and order your custom No. 18 Cardinals jersey, there are a few things to keep in mind, not the least of which is the fact that, should he be released, Manning will have no shortage of potential suitors. - The article

Seattle is considered a smaller market. Minneapolis is the #10 market and its considered a smaller market. I dont know why Seattle would want Manning anyways, it'd cost them a fortune and he's old. Regardless of that he wouldnt go there when he could go to NY or Miami and earn ten times in marketing.
