the 90s was one of the first years of the one-hit-wonders. its when bands really had to have a video on mtv to even get close to being popular and even then it was only the one song that got played on mtv constantly which made the charts. all of those bands are one hit wonders. all bands now adays are one hit wonders. the days of long lived bands like the stones, zeplin, ramones, misfits, etc are gone.
