Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

SWTOR: Game freeze followed by memory dump

Hello everyone, While playing SWTOR, I have recently experienced (2 times) the game to freee, followed by a shut down. The screen flashes alot of things, but I can only make out "memory dump" before it restarts itself. As I am playing on a new build, I am curious if this is something to do with the game or a faulty piece of hardware. I would assume there would be a log of the crash saved somewhere in Win 7, but I have no idea where to look or what to do when I found it! Help! Thank you!

I've been told by guildmates that there is a memory leak. Dont know how to avoid it but it has happened to me once before.

set your comp to not automatically reboot when it bluescreens so you can grab the error number.

Could be a system issue as well (drive issue, memory, etc).

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html Download and run that. It will automatically select the most recent minidump. Paste the contents in a reply.
