I bought a new comp and need a new mouse since the wireless mouse and keyboard I bought had a win keyboard and a fail mouse. The mouse I have used now for the last 4-5 years is Logitech MX 518 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1800 dpi Gaming Mouse. It is the perfect mouse for me due to it's size fitting my hand nicely, moves very smoothly not to fast or to slow, and always works. Problem is, they don't sell this mouse anymore so I was wondering if anyone knows of a mouse like it whether it is the mouse that came after it or whatever.
I had posted a link for your convience but the link itself doesn't work though if you google that mouse name and type in newegg as well you can still get the actual page with it.
Also Happy New Years everyone

Logitech probably makes an equivalent, and if not razer makes very good mice. I don't like a whole lot of buttons so I just use a razer deathadder and it works very well.

i too support a razer purchase. the deathadder is the best mouse i've ever had. currently using the naga for the buttons/macro abilities, but the deathadder size and feel is perfect. it's a little larger than most others i've used. omg i really want that tron mouse

well, upon further review it doesn't look as ergonomic as other razers, and i prefer their normal material as opposed to the glossy finish it appears to have. but i love tron!

How big is it cause it looks small. I've got 10 inch hands so I prefer very large mice otherwise it feels like I'm just holding it with my fingertips.

Deathadder is a fairly large mouse and is designed for a palm grip, not a claw grip. Only 5 buttons though, so you might wanna look at their other ones if you want more. Naga perhaps?

Because they are less accurate than optical. You need a good gaming mouse and you'll understand.

I've used a trackball for years, it's just what you get used to...and I don't play first person shooters or anything like that either.

Thumb to Pinkey. And I don't hear any good suggestions other than that tiny mouse or a roller mouse which I don't want. If possible I'd like as close to what I am used to using as possible.

How about exactly what you are using instead? http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Performance-Optical-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B0007Z1M50 (Or get the successor G400 which seems to have 2x the DPI but is lower-priced in the same body.)
