Things are pretty tough for women here I think. Most of the men are looking for a one night stand. Many of the women I think then say to the guy they are interested they just want to be friends and still go out in order to find a man who just doesnt want a one night stand.

Women are only friends with men they never want to sleep with or they are already happily sleeping with.
The fiction they call male friends who aren't happy to be in the above categories are just guys they either don't want to be, or are afraid to be....mean to.
It's not a bad thing really. Makes it easier on both of them to just sort of stop calling and drift off. Women are no more immune to wanting sex than men are, and they are just as diligent in finding it. Better at finding it actually because most guys will sleep with any woman that doesn't smell bad or weigh more than his mattress. Women have much higher standards. They require things like checking accounts and credit cards.

My years of experience trying to date as an older adult have taught me only one thing. It sucks. You just gotta have the right timing. When a woman is ready to settle down, they will do it with the first man they meet that seems interested. Has nothing to do with who you are, it's about where they are.
I'm going for low hanging fruit at this late stage of my life. Women with lots of kids and not much money. Hell, they need love too right? Not doing anything unethical, just increasing my chances.

I was considering trying eHarmony or Match.com, but Im not sure I want to pay a monthly fee just to meet people to possibly date. Or worse, pay a monthly fee to be shot down all the time like Bonk.
I tried a profile on Plenty of Fish, but the women on there misrepresent themselves to such a degree that its actually been more of a headache than a pleasure meeting people.

Eharmony is good but its made for christians and its more guilded. I like Match because so many people use it and its ungided.
My advice for Match.com is get the best pictures possible. The text is secondary
