Either Dells with warranties, or build three identical pc's is the option I would go with. WoW's system requirements are not exceedingly difficult to meet. How old are the kids? Are they going to be doing anything other than WoW?
One more thing, whats your budget?

Its very hard to beat the low end PCs if you buy them when they have a deep discount, just make sure that you are buying something that allows you to add a graphics card later if you want. If it is using integrated graphics out of the gate double check how capable the onboard is (or isnt).

What is your price point per machine? And do you want to be the person they bother when there is a technical issue? Do they need keyboard/mouse/speakers/monitor?

if i could get by with 500 each (keep in mind they dont have pcs at all, so they dont even have monitors), the oldest is 17, the youngest is 11.

Without Monitor and O/S that is a tough stretch. You probably will be best bet in getting a prebuilt from Dell or some such. $700 a piece and you could do something relatively decent. http://www.tomshardware.com/system-configuration-recommendation-55.html That one ran about $462 in August. Keep in mind that HDD prices have skyrocketed since the date of this build due to the flooding in Thailand. Other prices may have gone down though. Nevertheless you could use it as a template, and add a monitor for about $100. You may also be able to get student licenses of Windows cheap enough. Not sure if that only applies to college students, or elementary/high school as well.

Currently in the MMO unemployment line. Can I get $15/month for not playing them?

It should handle WoW with little to no issues. Higher end games will struggle at higher settings. Again, that system above is only $462 for the core components. No OS, KB, Mouse, or monitor. But if you can widen the budget a bit, you should have a machine decent enough for WoW and even a few other games.

500 per machine with the need for a monitor and everything is pretty limiting. The 11 year old, do they really need their own machine? That seems more in line to maybe 2 or 3 hours max per day for gaming purposes... especially playing something like an MMO.
