I only notice the price difference, I usually buy it near my house before heading over to the reno to give it to the crew each morning. one day last week, i forgot  , so i went next to the reno house to buy some and bang 1 buck cheaper. i'm like hmmmm seems like a scam!!!

We have a Dunkin nearby but I never go there. I just never think about it. My boss occasionally picks up a dozen assorted doughnuts from Dunkin and brings them in to work on Fridays to share with our department, which is cool.
I also prefer to make my own. They're not "real" doughnuts, I suppose, but they're still awesome. Hot oil in the fryer, and you take a tube of refrigerated biscuit dough and drop it into the hot oil and cook till it's done on the inside. Then you dip them in a milk/powdered sugar glaze and serve hot. Best to eat them with a fork. I made a bunch yesterday and omg they were delish

all the dunkin donut shops in Eugene left a few years back. I guess the franchise owner in this area either died or got out of the business as they all got replaced by local street name donut shops
but everything is ok.. because we have Voodoo donuts!
