I may have missed the link... Why don't they just post the whole list? There were only 53 choices for people on there, I'm interested to see which ones were left out.

I was shocked to hear Gordon Ramsey say the best burger he had was an In-N-Out burger.

Most overrated dive I've ever been to. I went twice because of the hype. The burgers were TERRIBLE, the fries undercooked, the service lousy and the line was out the door.
Never again.

how can you identify a delusion? it can't be just any belief resistant to reason, because there are plenty of cultural beliefs that don't count as delusions because 'everyone' believes them. therefore, we have to use the context or the culture to judge a belief that's resistant to reason. for example, the belief that in-n-out food is terrible is a belief resistant to reason. it's obviously wrong since they use fresh ingredients that are never frozen. everyone knows that it is literally impossible to make a terrible hamburger using fresh hamburger ingredients. beef, cheese, bread, lettuce tomatoes onions? it is nearly impossible to make those things terrible. you might as well argue that beef tastes terrible, or that potatoes taste terrible. now consider that the cultural belief is that in-n-out is great, and there is a consumer report to back it up. the belief that in-n-out is terrible lies completely outside what is normal for the culture and it is resistant to the self-evident reasoning that hamburgers are good and not terrible. the criteria for delusion is satisfied.

When the bun is slightly charred, the patty undercooked as well as the fries? Yeah, great logic.
It's actually easier to screw up a burger than it is to get it just right so as to classify as "great."
Leave it to humans to completely screw up service as well and you have a situation that completely dismantles your argument. It doesn't take dozens of failures for an individual to quit on a restaurant...just one or two.
They had their chance and they blew it.

i've never had burnt anything or undercooked fries from in-n-out. the fk kind of terrible in-n-outs are you going to? i'm willing to believe the ones outside of california are not as good as the ones inside of california due to the fact that in-n-out has it's own farms in cali for the ingredients it's chain uses.

The reason you don't see them any further East than Arizona and Nevada is because they don't freeze any of their beef so all of the restaurants get pretty much the same quality ingredients. That being said, if you got an asshat at the grill then it won't matter what you're using it's still going to taste like crap.

Thanks to the Dallas expansions, we have an In-N-Out within walking distance (I think it's a mile and a half away, technically). My family loves it - and since it's one of the few places I can take my allergenic kid to eat (did you know that they will fire up a grill just to make sure there's no cheese anywhere near your burger, if you ask?), I like it a lot.

On the burger it gets you a mustard grilled hamburger patty along with grilled onions, pickles, and extra spread. On the fries it's two pieces of american cheese along with grilled onions and spread.

They could certainly expand into FL if they wanted. We raise more beef per acre than any other state.
