Molvik could truly be a more challenging and fun place to run 8 folks if you would kindly stop jamming every single fight we are having. I'm sure we're a super exciting fight when you swoop up on us while we mid-fight with either another mid group or albs.
We want to fight you. We really do and we don't even mind dying to you but not if we're constantly being zerged by both mid groups. Funny how your group is always in the same area as any other mid group...right after we're engaged.
So, how about we stop that crap and make Molvik a more respectful bg?

Is there a consensus on what constitutes a zerg? It used to be around 5 fg+ to be called such. Nowadays it seems like if they have 101 and you have 100, or you are solo and they have 2, the only reason they won is because they zerged. I would say for Molv, 24 or so would be about right. 16 just shows fear of 8v8ing whatever you are facing and a good group can most likely still drop you all.

im just saying. why is a fg even in the quest areas? your obviously not looking for competition. you just want to roll solo questers, which is pretty lame imo
theres been roaming groups from all 3 realms on today. yet instead of looping the towers/ck areas, theres alb and hib fgs in the far corners by the trees and arawnites....
just rolling through killing questers who are engaged with mobs..
real classy molvik :P
im not crying, its just lame lol
just got several solo kills in the last half hour. a couple times a bunch of mid stealthers added. if that happened to you, sorry.

For a healer 32 Aug/22 Mend a good spec for molvik, or do I need more mend and pac instead of aug due to being more casters for crack?
Spec right gives yellow celerity, blue haste/af, 50% group insta heal, 55% single insta heal. I had thought about going a tri spec blue ae stun/crack/ae mez. I would loose yellow celerity/and have lower insta heals.
Also I gotta get started on a temp...

Thats what I figured. I haven't ran molvik in a few years but have a minst that I just lvled. I noticed how much mids ganked xp grps and they were caster heavy so I went pac instead of aug.

see an elf jump in after me some distance away
im not worried about it
im a skald with
yellow speed
perma sprint and i was sprinting
water buff
he cant catch me
i pan the camera and hes gaining on me super fast.
next thing i know hes close enough to stop and cast stun without me getting out of his range while he casts
then he nukes me to death.
what is it that hibs have that is faster than sprinting with yellow speed at molviks level?

To the tough hib group with the great animist last night: Really enjoyed fighting you guys! It was so great to fight such a challenging group and even though we lost over and over to ya, I would've come out all night and keep trying. Felt like old times. And so great to see some groups out roaming in Molvik. Was tons of fun (for me at least...others got frustrated...haha) If your group ever needs a pug druid, I'd love to run with ya!

I found out why I have been sucking since I returned, well, one of the reasons. Hopefully I put up better fights now. well rosy palm and her 5 sisters just paid me a visit so not bad.
also assuming action is the same as it was when i last played. Fgs dodge actual roaming spots such as the top of the hills and just go gank xp spots (sometimes even losing to people xping with half the numbers) albs camping their tower. Whoever has ck humping it. Stealth groups guarding tower/pk/ck relics.
hopefully when i run again its a lil better than my previous venture.

lol, thanks for trying. I am used to it, and it doesn't feel like I'm wasting charge when I try to drop one of your casters when we head on. At least now I fixed my set up enough so I can drop folks even with adds finally. Do love getting 2 ns's in a ping pong/kiting situation with their dd's and my 15 sec rut taunt doesn't interrupt bc it would be overpowered.

No worries mate, hard as it is to believe, I've had worse happen than dying in a game. After this mornings runs filled with fg's rescuing 2-5 realm mates from me, I am thinking adding on larger scale fights as a solo is the next obvious step in my evolution. I will of course remember who leaves me be, even if they do wear lavender =)

Is it really that bad? I'm only 28 now, but my destination was going to be molvik. It seems like there's always a good number of people in the '/who molvik' list.
Just recently returned, and wasn't looking to fully temp out a 50, so I thought molvik would be a good place to park so I could login and get some fast food rvr.
Is CV better? Should I be looking to roll all the way to 50? Given I have pretty limited playtime, I am not looking for a lot of time investment prior to hitting some RvR.

Good fun this afternnon. /wave at the hib group that didn't drop me even though their druid definitely wanted me dead. To the warden/tank that chased me after I was dropping albs for the hibs, why? I guess it was the fact that there was 2 of you and I was below 50%. How'd that work out for you? Funneh stuff when the skald showed up, at least from my point of view. Oh, and salutes to the bms I fought, couple close calls.

Nah. I just sit here stewing in silence until I burst a blood vessel and stroke out.
Hibs were kinda prickly today tho, had some nice 1v1's with a bm Klavd <-sp?, but most fights were interrupted by multiples. Funny watching them scamper back to HPK when they catch sight of me, and moments later see them running out thumping their chests with a fg at their backs. It's nice to inspire a lil fear again.
I will never get the idea behind running more #'s than the enemy as being fun, just no sense of accomplishment for me.

Just wish someone would teach all the RvR pugs where to roam. So frustrating when you know there are groups out, but they're roaming the entire fucking map instead of sticking to the plateaus between the towers.

Yeah, I used to be able to avoid groups unless they came flying down from a PK or back to it. If they had left it so they didn't have armor it wouldn't be a big deal, people think twice when you drop half their group.

Eh I don't mind FG's running around nearly as much as the stealth zergs and small man hunting down solos and/or adding onto fights. Especially since that is all they do. Guess some(most) stealthers suck and need a crutch(three friends).
Always funny when the same people encounter me on their own and get destroyed.
I'll always honor visible 1 on 1's but most stealthers dont deserve it.

I was wondering on the diff comp, you landed a side stun and I wasn't even worried, which didn't seem right. Did you like when I switched to basically holding down my /face key? Very rarely do I have to resort to that.
One of these days we should run a nice sav/bm duo and kill albs. Means everything we see, at least one of us will be able to hit it =D

well i was using fast weapon soo , hits really badly. and only way ill beat you is with TW, and i dont use it in duels.

Would never have thought wep speed would be that important, but, going to 4.3 speed was huge for me. Seems like around a 50% increase in output vs 4.0/3.8. Was the only change I made, and I lost some stats, but well worth it, many fights went from close calls to me melting them.

Some people only feel like they win if it is zero challenge. To me, if all i'm facing is speedbumps (what we used to refer to easy fights as way back when, bc the only thing that slowed you down was waiting for skald speed to kick back in) it's not worth it. Then again, I don't really believe it injures me or my psyche to die in a video game.
Time to go skoosh fools and hopefully find someone worth fighting.

Best fights are double death 1v1. actually had another vs a warden, Seintramp. So it was a good evening. Makes me miss my Blissful Ignorance a little, but, it's such a rare occurence as to render it kinda moot.
Also, you died first ;-) Chit doesn't really matter tho, you are one of the few fights I enjoy that involves less than 3 enemies. Everything else just feels so jejune.

It wouldn't be so bad if folks didn't jump on their hibs when the ck is being attacked. If the relic hopper things is aimed at me, that is humorous. My play is dictated more by which side has the lowest numbers and therefore more things to fight, which generally means Mid. I do however play whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like it tho. I will also watch you die if you are on my side and in a fair fight, and laugh if/when you whine, and would appreciate you doing the same, although fair to me prob means something different than it does to you.

If people see something as being so OP, why not roll the class that has it and own? For heals, the counter is to use grp/spread, as far as I know these aren't affected.

@Bran what toons did you have in mind that you'd want to play in CV? I'd probably recommend something with stealth, speed, and/or AE CC. (if you plan on soloing)
I haven't been in CV in months. Its much faster to just level right to 50 and rvr in NF. CV action seemed very hit or miss.

Last time I did CV I ran an aug sham on classic. Was supposed to be a guild thing that became just me. Buttloads of fun vs multiples, and a couple of 1v1 that were about 5-10 minutes against a good friar and some others. Was thinking a tank or reaver/valk for taking on multiple stealthers. Wouldn't mind finding someone to duo with actually, Slyguy(Buckshot) and myself in the old times was prob the most fun I've had in this game. Still giggle thinking of the Thid "gank groups" that talked so much ish and then fell to a duo repeatedly.

Some good fights today, most of which were interrupted by adds in one way or another. Albs took the CK, which is a nice change, shall see who owns it once the night is thru tho. Warshifter (?) was some good fights, think I got you twice, and got even more dirtnaps than that in return. To the multiples, when I /y, that means I am calling you a scrub, and want to see what would happen if you left the safety of your numbers. Guessing you already know tho, that's why you travel in packs.

Some fun fights vs a couple heroes today on my scout. finally getting the hang of playing him again a lil, 25 stealth for the ownage methinks. To most hib stealthers I am popping, I usually am trying for a fight, not to get you squished, I have tunnel vision generally.
Is there anyplace to find test dummies without going to pendragon? trying to figure out breakpoints for PB and standard shots. Sitting at 324 dex and 7% cast speed and cannot find any info that goes that low for that slow of cast times. Hoping to get off 3 PB's on noninsta enemies per stun.

I did some testing, and let's just say that while I am not sure on 352, there is no reason to go for 342, at least for PB. Saw no reason to go past AD5(346) in tests, and decided I was okay with not achieving the next break in standard shot.

I forget the names but there was a hunter duo I was having fun with yesterday on my Minstrel. They kept trying to crit shot me near ghouls (Mid/Alb) but for their follow up shots I'd be out of range. They were always right next to each other. If they would've spread out they might've had a chance.
I managed to grief them a few times while they were killing trees. Was fun.
Judging by their tactics and when I was meleeing them at the trees, they were definitely bow/pet/stealth spec. Their melee was pathetic.

If only you would teach myself and others how to be obnoxious and talk mad ish without ever backing it up. My playstyle suits me fine, and the better I got before the less fun I had. I prefer enjoyment from a game nowadays.
I would take losing close fights to killing a bunch of random squishies., but, I also don't value myself based on my skill in a video game. Once you learn to like yourself, not many people's input really matters anymore. Although I must say, random guy on teh interweb is tough to overlook as a peer.

Whole lotta ownus interruptus tonight. Still enjoyed myself, especially /region chat and people explaining how the game was designed to be played. Wouldn't mind trying a valk on for size versus my scout on top of any tanks, used to be 50/50 so I'll prob get pummeled, but wth?

Good fights out there! was fun vs the Hib guild Fib tank group. Very rarely did any fight go without a group adding, but at least we're not waiting long for action. We were running in full PuG too, with a SB doing our peels no less.

Couple good fights today, Legislation the NS, we need to end up 1v1 one of these times lol. To the ns duo that became a trio, not nice to run when your buds helping u vs a scout, gets him shot instead of meleed when I land my stun, and I'm gonna land it. Thanks for bringin' three tho, shows you care =)
