I liked my Logitech MX1000 so much that I bought a few more on eBay. Logitech doesn't make them anymore, but you can still find them around. Now I just cycle through them, when the battery needs charging I just put it on the charger and grab one of the others :P

I love my Logitech G5. Overall, Logitech makes good products. Razor ones are okay, but I'm not a diehard fan. Microsoft even make decent mice, but I haven't liked their gaming line for a while.

I have wrist problems so I switch between a Razer DeathAdder and a Logitech G700. Both are good, I prefer the Logitech but the batteries can't hold a charge for more than 48 hours.

I've never had luck with the battery mice, both replaceable or rechargeable. The cord doesn't really bother me.

I have gone through several Microsoft and Logitech mouse's over the years I now have the Razer Mamba and it is the best mouse I have ever used, it can be used cordless or with cord. http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.231103000

When looking for a new mouse I always look for the lightest mouse possible. Anything else just doesn't feel right to me. I've been using a Logitech LX3 for some time now.

Funny. I go with a cord and put in all the weights I can. Different strokes.een I've been staying with Logitech. I uses to use MS but something would break after a year of abuse. I've never broken a Logitech.

heh. Lots of different opinions. Which makes sense. I looked hard at Mamba before I posted. But i read 2 complaints of where the rubber pieces on sides came off. If that's a common issue it would be annoying to pay that kind of scratch for a mouse. I don't mind paying it if the thing will hold up. The deathadder is attractive in the meantime. Decisions decisions. I really don't care if it's wireless or not. Matter of fact even if i went with the mamba i'd probably use it wired 99%of time. Detailed feedback from either of the two above would be helpful. actual durability and comfort comments from those who have used them.

I have fat hands, much like my EE width feet, so finding a mouse that's wide enough to be comfortable and not aggravate my budding carpal tunnel. The closest I found was the Cyborg RAT9 adjustable mouse. You can (within limits) make it wider, longer and taller, plus is has a nifty button that temporarily drops mouse sensitivity by 70% for precise aiming/clicking.

If you do any kind of serious/competitive gaming, wireless is a bad choice. I use a Death Adder, love it.

I have never had problems with the rubber pieces, I use mine wired 99% of the time, while the batteries last a lot longer than the Logitech I was using, wired is full power 100% of the time so no worries.

I own a Logitech MX518 mouse with a backup in my closet; it's now been replaced by the G400. We use the MX518 for all of our Pro/E users at work and they love them.

Yah, it takes a minute to get used to.. but once you do, you'll never go back to a regular mouse.

Yeah, I've decided I need a gaming mouse. Or at least I'd like one!
/looks around furtively
/whispers "I'm a clicker!"
Seriously though, I've been loving the macro keys on my keyboard but I'm limited. I need more that are easy to reach and a few a specific heal buttons on my mouse would make my life heavenly.
I've got to have a roller ball. Ic an't handle any othe types of mice now. It's terible. I have an ancient Logitech wireless mouse and I love it.
Is it posible ot get a track ball mouse with a couple macro buttons? Not havning luck finding one.

Actually they are not that hard to find but the prices are obscene. After my last Explorer died I went to a Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan. While it is a fingerball instead of a thumb ball it otherwise is very close in feel to the old MS product.
