I'm not listing any specifics myself but they might get get listed int hsi thread to making sure to add the spoiler thing.
Did you read it?
What feeling did the "conclusion" leave you with?
Very well written, some of the predictios I made as far back as the first book were spot on, although usually with a twist or two. The fight with galbatorix was...well done. Definately NOT what I had imagined, very well done.

I have no clue what this book is. The last book I read was Neil Gaiman's American Gods. It was fantastic. Basic concept: the faith that people have in their religions, folklore, and lifestyles cause physical manifestations of their gods to come into existence, and a war is brewing between the old gods (Norse, Egyptian, etc) and new ones (Internet, Television, etc).

No one has read this seriously? Or is the "spoiler" part scaring anyone off?

It's such a waste to be wasted in the first place I wanna taste the taste of being face to face with common grace To meditate on the warmest dream And when I walk alone, I listen to our secret theme

I have not read any of the books. While my reading is down in the past few years anyway, I heard that it was written by some kid who had family connections which is the only reason the book was published and made into a movie so gave it a pass. No idea if it's true or not but I'm not going to take a chance on it when there are actual good books that I own that I haven't made time to read.

Movie sucked balls. Didn't go near to the book or quality of Paolini's writing. Yes, he was a home schooled teenager when he started the books. Absolutely incredible writing, awesome structure, good cahracter development, imaginative, descriptive, moves along well, very good sense of conflict. Overall very, very well done series.
The last few chapters of the last book were .... awful. Not a complete waste but he left way too many things unresolved and the "ending" of the main character made no freaking sense whatsoever and it was absolute. Made me want to the hunt down the kid and punch him for being stupid. The only other time I wanted to punch him was for allowing those people ot make an abomination of a movie and put the name of his book on it.
