How many of you guys have used this? I'm thinking this is the best way to go to find the gear set up I want for mogging. Curious who (besides Rill) has tried it out and what you thought of it.

Works very well indeed. I've used it to make graphics for that one vault site.

How do you find out if something is in the game or not where it comes from? I've been wowheading most of the stuff but every now and then I run across something cool that wowhead doesn't have. Any ideas of how to see if this stuff that's coming and where from or what?

I was never able to save the thing to have a transparent background. How you do?

For myself I never did make the background transparent. I just used a program like GIMP to select a specific color range and deleted it. There's more to it than that, but if I have to explain it, then you need more instruction than I am willing to provide.

A couple of options - either you can do what Taloquin said and handle the masking in Photoshop - or you can import your background to modelviewer and handle rendering in situ. A combination of these also works well - render on a close to correct background in modelviewer and then mask and blend in PS.

Amazing, I was about ot ask the same question about transparanet backgrounds. I think I can do the color delete thing but Wolfpaw sort of lost me with the import background explanation.
Frankly I'm loving this thing.

I need a WMV for dummies now. I'm startign ot think of all sorts of things Iw ant to do with it, that should be simple I jsut can't figure them out messing around though. There's a bunch of tutorials on the You Tubes but they're not helping. Ther'es no actual wow model viewer site, just download sites.

Been using WMV since it came out. Then again, I've always used model edits to change the look of the crappy ass gear so that it looks cool on my screen. Would never have played WoW so long without model editing and WMV.

K, having a problem, I suddenly can't get any armor to load. I can pull it up and set up my character but when I go to add armor there's nada. Ideas?

Double check that WMV is loading from your WoW .mpq files, assuming that it still works that way. Been awhile since I've used it. Aside from that, make sure you have the latest version of WMV, assuming there has been a WoW patch recently.

I lied. Don't got it. It seems to randomly load armor or not. So if it doesn't do it the first time, I just close it and try again. Ugh. And yes, updated it.
edit: Figured it out. Odd bug. If I open it from the shortcut it doesn't work. I have to actually go into the folder and open the program directly.
