Just ran across this 2 as an option since I canceled Netflix.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I've used vudu on my ps3 this past month. No issues, and video quality has been really good. It's spendy for Hi-Def titles though - 5.99 or more.

I like it, but it's easy to rack up quite a charge as it's per movie.

Boxee is it's own delivery service - like roku from what I understand. You still need some other service to watch - hulu, vudu, etc. Unless you mean you're using boxee to watch vudu? It should work just fine, but you don't need boxee if you have a ps3.

I pay 4.99 - 6.99 for my FiOS video on demand service per HD title so it doesnt seem to be out of line.

Good point. Either way, it's Sunday cheaper than a theater. wink

While I really wont argue the price but on a matinee price of $6.00 or $7.00 it's really the popcorn, candy and soda that make the theater prices explode.

No joke - a large soda at the theater here is $8.00. For a soda! Not to mention the other crap there. plain I can remember waaaay back getting kicked out of a theater for sneaking in with a pizza. Good times grin

Well when you're watching a movie with the wife or the entire family, I'll take $5.99 for all 4 of us vs. the movie theater.

Thanks for the replies

Redbox is only $1 for a DVD. $2.50 for a blu-ray. And there's a redbox within a 5 to 10 minute bike ride of my house.
