The things they decide NOT to interfere in are just horrible imo. They basically reward the bad guys. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2624976486#1 A poster says: I just want vent a bit as Blizzard cant help me out and i want to warn you all I have a guild on nagrand (allies side) and this guild has been around for years when i wanted to change my GM i made my wife GM ofc as to be safe I told my wife she could make me GM back when i was relogging but what happend was when i logged in and she saw my name come up she ofc clicked my name ( so she thought) and promoted a officer mistakes can happen but i tried and talk like my life depended on it to him and he would not give my guild back. well he got fed up with me and apperently also my wife and kicked all my chars and her chars from the guild I mean CMON so i made a ticket to blizz telling it was a honest mistake and i got a reply You gave the guild freely and without preasure to someone else and we cant help you Look at the logs people... i been like GM for over 5 years and with a little mistake i lose my lvl 25 Guild with around 600+ members thats hard so well i know i cant do anything about it but PLZ be carefull when you click ------------------ A blue responded: Greetings Velastrasza, I’m truly sorry to hear about the situation you describe, and it is regrettable that our policies don’t allow us to intervene in a case such as this. I note that you’ve already spoken to a member of our Senior management team in-game, and I hope that has been of some benefit. Please allow me to offer my best wishes for your new guild, including a hope that you don’t end up with this type of person as a member or officer in the future. As a final note, if you ever need to pass guild leadership between characters again in the future, you can actually do so using the in-game command; /gleader <Name> This will even work to promote offline characters, thus allowing the movement of leadership between one’s own characters. ______ It would be easy to look at the logs and fix it. I don't like how Blizzard won't get involved when good people suffer and bad people profit. Same with when people ninja items.

Blizzard's standard response for anything that's "drama" related or that will require them to research logs is "I'm sorry we can't do anything about that". I've seen it numerous times.
I would think that if enough guild members put in tickets then it would be addressed but that would still just be a pain. And who's to say the new GM wouldn't jsut start kicking people. There is no support for guild stability.

Hahaha. Why would Blizzard or anyone else running a mmo would bother with that kind of stuff? Was it a hack? a cheat? a bot? did it violate any rule? nope? SCREW YOU. Your expections are idiotic.

Because enforcing rules or stepping in to stop people from doing bad things is how we keep the good guys on top and not the bad guys. Wow is poisoned by the bad at the moment as Blizzard turns a blind eye to the bad behavior.

If ignorance were painful, half the posters here would be on morphine drips. Everyone playing WoW knows everything about playing two classes: 1) their own and 2) Hunters

I click the guild controls too... When my nephews account got hacked I came SO CLOSE to promoting him to guild leader rather than demoting him. He was an officer so he was 1 click from being Guild Leader. That woulda sucked.

Agree, blizzard needs to step it up. With their stupidity, they likely lost a few hundred subscribers with this incident, whereas they would have lost none had they just fixed it. Bad customer services kills ANY company.

There's a lot of things blizzard could and should do but curing stupid probably isn't on the list.

Lesson learned: NEVER give guild control to someone not used to be guild leader, not even your wife. The guy should have done it himself on his wife's computer to be sure she doesn't screw up. This said, the officer is obviously a real asshat. Makes one wonder how the hell he became officer. Mistakes have obviously be made in that guild if an officer does such things. So we don't know the whole story.
