Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

HP gives away free TouchPad apps...

HP seemingly wanted to do something cool for everyone that has been able to get one of their HP TouchPad tablets by giving away 6 paid apps for free. So they setup a page with promo codes and tell you that you must get the apps by the 31st.

Unfortunately everyone that tries to redeem these codes are getting a message that the limit has been reached and the codes are invalid.
Doh!
The website says we have until the 31st, so I don't get why we are getting an error about a limit exceeded. I'm hoping it's a mistake that HP will remedy soon. So might be worth trying again later if you have a TouchPad.
Update: In small print it did say "while inventory lasts". So I guess it's not a mistake the codes aren't working. We are SOL.
