Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

Please see here : http://vnboards.ign.com/ywain/b23441/115350697/p1/?10 try and ignore the trolls I built the machine I'm currently using and it's lasted me for quite a few years. I think it's time for an upgrade though. Due to an element of laziness on my part I'm looking at using the custom builds on some websites. www.cclonline.com and www.arbico.co.uk Trying to keep to a budget under £600. Have a read through link and would like some feedback/ideas/options please

As I assume you're in the UK, I can strongly recommend PC Specialist ( http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/index.php ), whether you are looking for a complete machine or just to browse through their alternative custom-build specs so you can get a good idea of what they reckon to be the best options (along with the prices). They only use the best components and are extremely efficient both pre-sale and post-sale. I have no connection with them but a friend bought successfully from them after which I did the same and then my son did so and we've all been hugely impressed by the quality of their machines and service.

Ye I'm UK that's a great site, cheaper than what I was looking at so far. Being advised towards the i5 2500... Anyone dispute that choice?

If you do not plan to OC then yes. If you like to toy with OCing then get the 2500k.
