Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

New Mentor Structure and Vacant Positions

After a review of the mentor program between site management and the mentors on staff, we've decided to change the mentor program to a new structure with less mentors. Less mentors doesn't mean a class won't get mentor coverage or be heard, it just means instead of 50 odd people trying to keep track of everything, there'll now only be 20 or so, in fact it may also mean your class gets heard more!
With this new structure, we've also completed a review of the mentors themselves and you'll notice some have left us (and we wish them well) and some are remaining on board, either as mentors to the new roles or as Senior Mentors to help around the place! Because of this, we have a lot of open positions in the new structure and they are detailed below, along with the requirements and how to apply for positions.
So, the new mentor structure is as follows:
Alb Melee Mentor
Alb Casters Mentor
Alb Healers Mentor
Alb Stealthers Mentor
Hib Melee Mentor
Hib Casters Mentor
Hib Healers Mentor
Hib Stealthers Mentor
Mid Melee Mentor
Mid Casters Mentor
Mid Healers Mentor
Mid Stealthers Mentor
Mauler Mentor
Gaheris Mentor
Mordred Mentor
RvR Mentor
Trade Skills Mentor
Senior Mentors who'll aid the new mentors and float around the boards helping as they can:

AufWTF (previously Mentalist Mentor)
Dramprar (previously Cleric Mentor)
rekkarthedeceiver (previously Shadowblade Mentor)

Due to some class types having 5 classes (Alb Casters, for example), those roles will require 2 mentors. However, if you think you can dedicate the time and effort to all 5 as one person, then please let us know when you apply. Check out the list on the Mentor Requirements and Vacancies page below.
To apply for any of the positions listed, please Private Message or email me (beibhinn @ vaultnetwork.com) stating the role you're interested in in the PM or email title. In the application itself, please include a list of classes that fulfil the role requirements (and more if available).
So have a look at the requirements and vacancies on the Mentors Requirements and Vacancies Page.
Please apply before Monday, August 15th (2011!). The week of the 15th, we'll post the list of the filled positions and any remaining vacancies (new mentors can start doing their thing as soon as they're on board).

I'm active on Mordred as well, but the mentor title is worthless if Mythic does not take an active role in this as well. I have shouted, screamed, built websites, forums etc etc and it all died simply because the community cannot do this alone, it needs backing from Mythic.

Yeah no doubt, I believe we all have the same common
issues with what could be done to help improve Mordred.
It's just trying to get those put into effect and like
you said, there needs to be a little initiative on EA's
side of the table. Hopefully we can get someone in the
mentor circle to push those concerns with EA/Mythic.
