Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

How recently did you buy your machine? Old Optimus made you switch manually. New optimus should be on the fly. Trust me, if ANY game were running on that crappy intel integrated stuff, you'd notice.

I bought it a week ago. WoW runs as good on my GF's notebook with integrated intel graphics. I removed all the asus crap and i am getting some 1 second freeze in WoW. Dunno if it's related cuz it was removed before installing that game. I run Crysis fine tho.

I could have sworn that the latest Catalyst and NVidia drivers would allow you to specify that they're always used once within Windows. Haven't goofed about with a laptop with two chipsets in a while though. I wonder if Ati and Nvidia have performance counters you can install.
