I love the Amazon Cloud drive. While it didn't give unlimited music storage for free like Apple and Google, I really like the Amazon MP3 app more than Google's Music app. And with Apple, you are stuck with just iOS devices and I need something that works on my Android phone.
Amazon was the first to launch and set the pricing before they realized what Apple and Google were doing. It started with 5GB for free and for a limited time you could upgrade to 20GB for the price of one MP3 album. I bought a $2 album of 99 songs and got 20GB of free storage for a year. But the problem is 20GB still wasn't enough space and adding more storage just seemed to expensive.
Well Amazon is now offering unlimited storage for just $20 a year.

Oh wow, it got even better. I logged into my Cloud Drive to go upgrade to the unlimited plan and I see I'm already unlimited. I guess buying that MP3 album and getting the 20GB storage deal must have already qualified me for unlimited storage. 
Now time to upload the rest of my music.

Yeah pretty much any cloud storage plan gives you unlimited music storage.

When I read the headline "Cloud Players hits iPad", I thought that meant an iPad app. After reading the press release I see it just means you can use the web based Cloud Player from the Safari browser.
Sadly this is no good. I already tried this (and re-tried in case something changed today) and what happens is it'll play music while you have the website loaded, however if you switch to another app, it'll continue playing the current song, but it will not play the next song in your playlist until you switch back to the browser. So it's a bit misleading for Amazon to say this optimized for the iPad, it doesn't work. 
Oh well. Still happy about the unlimited space. Uploading away now.

Actually I was incorrect when I said Apple was unlimited. It's just 5GB for free. Additional space has to be purchased.
Google Music Beta is unlimited and free for a limited time. That give the impression they'll eventually charge for it. Though that would be kinda weird, since Google's stuff is usually free. So we'll see how that works out. Google's beta seem to last forever, so might get plenty of time to try it out for free anyway.
I wish Dropbox was free.
