AC Crashing immediately when I hit "Enter World" with Decal 2.9.6.4. Please help!

Hi. When I try to enter the world with Decal 2.9.6.4 on, I immediately crash with an acclient.exe error. I tried disabling all my plugins but still crashed. Please see the export below. I've also posted image links to the error I get when I click enter world:

What is portal magic? It seems to be installed in a wierd place.
And why did you install AC in d:/?
With XP, there is no need to install anything anywhere other than the default install directory.

I went through and started with everything unchecked and checked everything up to Decal .NET Lifetime Service, at which point it crashed. So Decal .NET Lifetime Service seems to be causing the issue... don't know why. I doubt Portal Magics is causing the issue as its stuff isn't even enabled when I'm having crashes.
Edit: AC was installed in D because in my current partitioning setup C has much less space than D, and thus I've always installed games (more space) in D or another drive.

Update: I can enable everything except Decal .NET Lifetime Service and I can log in. Unfortunately, Decal .NET Lifetime Service is obviously integral to decal as nothing comes up upon login... So please help me figure out why Decal .NET Lifetime Service isn't working for me :/
and i got .net 4 to see if it would work. it doesn't.

Another new update: I can enable everything (including the .NET service) except "Decal Input Service" and login and see my plugins. How critical is that service? Why is it crashing when combined with the .NET?
