This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	My client has a software program called Mercury Electronic Parts Catalog(MIDAS). They upgraded their computer from an old celeron with xp to a newer win 7 walmart machine. The software is supposedly vista compatible(shouldn't be a problem, right?) and the install says its successful. Upon opening the program it just hangs there using 50% of the cpu load. 	Tried, no help. When I set it to use just 1 core it shoots up to 100% usage. It's version 9.0 while 11.4 is the latest. What sucks is you have to be a member to get the updates. My client was previously an authorized mercury dealer, but gave it up. They ended up buying this version on Ebay thinking it was compatible with Win 7. That sounds a little fishy tbh... if they want to see Mercury prices then I assume they want to sell or compete somehow. If they want to sell they should just buy the correct copy. If they want it for some less than ethical reason, I would not support that. -----signature-----

	its a parts database. Its for a boat marine shop. They do repairs, sell boats, trailers, etc. So, having the parts list is pretty much a requirement. With the economy they way it is people aren't buying boats, even used boats. 	Have you tried XP mode (different than compatibility mode)? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-mode http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx We had to do that with one of our older programs where I work. edit: It has to be installed.
