Personally I am waiting on that new mmo that just signed sanya - some sci fi 3 sided pvp game.
Champions online isn't terrible (and its free) but its nothing that will hook ya.

LOL Darkfall is the worst MMO in the history of online gaming. I played in their early release thing, realized no one bothers wearing any gear and just zergs naked, and made a bot to gather wood for me all day while I was at school. UBER PVP! 
At least I was able to sell my account to someone dumb enough to try the game for $80.
