Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

This series is starting to get real good. What a come back by the Mavs tonight. Dirk should hands down be the playoff MVP. What a performance by Dirk tonight. He scored the final 9 points for the Mavs. What a shot by Super Mario Chalmers, it is an absolute travesty that he is not starting for the Heat. I would love to see the Mavs win this series, Kidd and Dirk along with Cuban getting a ring would be a great story; much better than Sale Out James and Bosh getting a ring. I won't be disappointed either way, it would be nice to see Chalmers get a ring.

Whoa finally an NBA thread! Anyway, yeah Dirk has been amazing in the playoffs. I usually rank him around #6 or 7 in the league but now he has to be ahead of Kobe and Durant and into the top 5 current players. I'm rooting for the Heat cause I'm a big fan of LeBron but I do kinda want to see Dirk and Kidd win a ring... Chalmers is in one of those situations where he comes off the bench but plays starter minutes. All the Heat really need out of the PG position is ability to make wide open 3s, and Chalmers isn't a very good shooter. He does tend to hit big shots, though.

im not a fan of either teams, but if i had to choose it would be the Mavs...only because i have a good friend that does the music for the Mavs, and would like to see Cuban get a ring.

Chalmers had another monster night, I am simply shocked that they continue to start Bibby over Chalmers. Dallas really let one go tonight, now they face two must win games coming up. If they win these next two games then they will be sitting good. I said coming into the series Dallas was going to have to win two in Miami to seal the series. Two is possible, three in Miami is highly improbable.

It was nice to see Chalmers starting tonight. Finally the Heat begin to reconize that Chalmers is a baller. He out played Lebron James in this series. Overall a really exciting finals, I actually watched every game in this finals, which has never been the case before. Usually I catch maybe one or two games, but this year I was stuck to the TV during the finals. Maybe, just maybe the NBA might have gained a new fan; we will see.

I watched very little of the playoffs. I was a big NBA fan in high school, but haven't been watched much at all since the early 90s. Since I knew this could be the last game of the finals I watched it. I was glad to see the Mavs win. It was nice to see Dirk and Jason Kidd finally get a championship. And not that I dislike Lebron and those guys, but when the media puts so much effort into hyping a team as the absolute best unbeatable juggernaut, it's kinda satisfying to see that team lose.

i had to quote your whole post, because that is exactly how i feel...i used to cheer for Lebron, but i find myself cheering against him...im no longer a huge NBA fan, havent been since the retirement of Reggie Miller...but i just cant stand the ME attitude that Lebron shows. i didnt think him leaving Cleveland was that big of a deal, just how he did it...then his Tweets regarding fan hate. C'mon, just STFU and play...dont make predictions, just play and bring a valued product to the floor every night.

You forgot to capitalize your "i" Liquid. You should feel ashamed of yourself.
