Saw it last night. Hilarious. Not as good as the first, but still very funny. Go see it.

i don't think it requires a "get" factor there will undoubtedly be some throwback references, but i'm sure that if you're a person that's going to laugh at this movie, you'll laugh at it regardless

Just go rent the first one before you see the second. A little bit of background on some carryover jokes will only help, and the first movie was pretty funny!

You would get more benefit from seeing the first. If you haven't, I don't think it will make THAT big a deal. But since there's still time, go rent the first and see it. It will help more than harm.

I did not see the first because i thought it would be stupid i did not want to see this one for the same reason. One of my friends asked me to go so i did and thought it was a very good movie. The cast seemed to get along very well.

It was pretty funny but not as good as the first. Relied on shock a little too much this time. Also it really bugged me that nobody was concerned at all at the end that the 16 year old genius prodigy future surgeon and cellist lost a finger. He can't do either of the things he's brilliant at anymore and nobody gets upset at all? Yeah right.

ugh. just got back from it. watch the first, skip this one. The first 20 minutes was rehashing jokes from the first, and from that point it was almost a scene for scene remake of the first- Guys party, get drunk, lose friend, spend two days looking for friend who was within a couple floors the entire time. I guess I expected even a little originality. Don't waste your time on this one at all. Warning: spoilers above.

Eh I don't really think it was a bad movie, just wasn't as good as the original. It still had quite a few laughs. I just wish it had a more coherent ending and more of the silly fun of the original rather than so much shock humor. That being said, the stuff with the monkey and the old monk was well done.

I thought it was good in it's own way in a few parts.
Comparing a sequel to the original will 9 times out of 10 be disappointing to most anyway.
we got a few laughs out of it, what more could you ask for 16 bucks.
That could be a thread of it's self.
